Cultus or Liana..... confused

I had suzuki cultus vxr 2004 model I sold it 2 days ago. Now I am thinking of buy a cultus efi version but Suzuki liana is also available in same prices as I am observing of a good condition cultus vxri. Although alot of people are talking about liana as a failure car, it's engine issues & no resale value. I know nothing much about Liana but it's availability in same rates as of cultus (more or less 6 lacs) is making my mind to go for a sedan this time.
Need suggestions.

There is no harm in Liana other than low market value. But as you'll get in low price already means this factor won't harm you.
Get a less driven, not abused Liana, It won't make any issue at all. JUst get the factory fitted CNG Version or Petrol only is better. Liana got flopped just because after market CNG version wasn't working with it. So road side mechanics and dealers started to blame Liana itself.

How can same engine is flop in one car (Liana) and successful in other (Swift). Both share the same M13a engine.

You'll get Liana in cheaper rate and parts are economical as well as compared to other Sedan.

Its not wise to buy same car again which you have already kept. One can get bored from it. Why buy and old hatchback when you can get a decent Sedan in it.

Better drive experience, better AC, better driving experience. Strong engine if maintained well.

Just sharing my personal experience not just a fan boy talk. Everyone got their own point of view. Hope it helps.

Go for a liana if its engine(including electronics) and suspension is in good condition..i have a liana and efi cultus at home...have kept all model mehrans, khyber, margalla and alto vxr for years...after years of having all suzukis in my home at different periods, i can confirmly say a statement that liana is baap of all these cars...even my uncle who used to scold me for buying a liana, enjoy its drive alot although he own a gli corolla 5 years younger than my liana...<br />

if you kept it for long time then go for liana,otherwise cultus is ready cash when you want sold it
