Cultus Owner Ship Transfer Information Required

Salam dear Members,

Guys i have been looking for a clean ride for last two weeks and now i have finalized deal.

It is 2011 manufactured and registered Suzuki Cultus (Lahore Registered).

Seller is a second owner of the car but the car is still on first owner's name. Means car only has one owner in excise records.

I want to get the car transferred on my name as soon as i buy the car. so i have few questions

1. Which documents i need to get from second owner to get the ownership transferred on my name??

2. Do i need the second owner personally to go with me to excise ???

3. Do i need any sort of help/cooperation from first owner as second owner has not transferred car on his name??

This is my first car purchase so pardon my ignorance.

Any sort of help will be really appreciated.

check the punjab excise website, there is some format of sale deed with validity for transfer. Open letters are invalid since 2013

1st of all your are is not 2nd owner so dont tell any one its 2nd owner, now for transfer you dont need any doc, just go with owner in excise, n ask owner take a transfer form then pay 300 for that form, then fill it n submit it with fee n your n owners cnic n car doc n get you cars transfer. if owner say he dont want to go with you then ask some agent he ll charge 5-8K extra n your car ll be transferred.

If ur first owner with u at Excise office then all process charged about Rs.2500 (if life time token paid). otherwise through agent may be they demand Rs. 5000. if Token not paid first u paid life time the then next processs

incase all document and id card copy etc available.

transfer letter given by excise in the prescience of owner n owners cnic. by paying agent some money you ll get that transfer letter after that fill it n submit doc. old transfer letter are not valid anymore. new transfer letters are valid for 15 days. record ll be update 1-5 months. some time not update.
