Cultus Power Lose issue in Uphill

AOA Guys,

I am facing problem in Hilly Areas, My Cultus (2012 Model only Petrol) lose power and struggling while climbing. When ever i slow car in hilly area car struggles in pick while in plan areas it run normally.
its happening with my from last month before car was fine in hilly areas and never lost power. please advise your suggestion and experiences.

I think, you need a clutch plates replacement.
Do you smell something burning? Does rpm goes high but the car accelerates very less? Your clutch plates have gone bad.

You don't slow a car on a hilly area unless it's very important or urgent. You need to keep up the pace in 1st/2nd/3rd gear depending on the incline. Did you tried revving up before releasing the clutch while at the start of a hill? this helps more pressure to be created, even after trying so the car is not moving forward as it should then get your clutch plates checked.

I have replaced clutch plates and pressure plates twice before this issue.

In rawalpindi / Islamabad can you suggest me the expert mechenic for clutch plate set setting. As I have changed clutch plate set twice in 2 months about 6 months ago.

Why changed clutch plates already twice in 6 months? clutch plates easily last 25000 KM or may be more If I am not wrong. I am from Karachi so no idea about Pindi/Islamabad. May be other members would be able to recommend you someone.

Than you need to change your driving style. You are driving your car wrong thats why your clutch plates get burnt. Always take your foot completely off the clutch after putting the car in gear. And on higher speeds never ever press your clutch and race to build pressure and get more power. This way the clutch plates are burnt quickly. Or dont keep your foot on clutch plates while driving. After changing gear keep your foot off the pedal.
