assalam o alaikumi recently changed my 2008 cultus radiator. now there is no visible leak but after driving it about 30 40kms in a day the water in radiator goes down. the car doesnt heat up even when on ac but the water level going down is worrying me..please help me out in suggesting the probable reason and solutionjazakAllahAwais
Did u change old radiator cap with new good quality one? If not then do it.
where can i get one in pindi/isl...most of the shops have desi stuff
Buy exactly the same cap.you can get it from any good reputable spare parts shop.

Bro if your using simple water then it will obviously go down, and will create a lot of rust.if you already use coolant, then increase it a little.

You should drain your radiator ,then put half water and half coolant, or use those premixed ones they are also available in the market.
Might not be a leakage bro simple water with no coolant will surely go down when you drive.
aoa, brothers i've put in the coolant and bought the new radiator cap shown above...the fluid still went down...this is driving me crazy...please please help!!!!
bro like i said bro there is no apparent leakage..no sign of water leaking out..i think it evaporates frome somewhere but cant find out...can it be linked to bottle?

Take a strong flash light start your car and let it warm up to operating temperature then check all the hoses and joints. Check near water pump on the back of it where a metal pipe connects to water pump sometimes that is the culprit. Check heater core hoses and heater core if it's connected. Check around the Radiator core behind the AC condenser. Check the thermostat housing below the distributor sometimes that also create problems. The pipes on the reservoir bottle must be at their correct place's if those are swapped they also create such problem's. Even if there is a small pinhole leak somewhere that can cause such weird problems.BTW how much coolant loss (ml) you are facing?

i also have culuts and same issue is with my car although i have change gaskit,radiator fan direct changed radiator and checked leakage issue is still there what to do is this the reason of Cap as i have put pakistani made cap on radiator
