Cultus RPM limiter cutting off at 5000 RPM

I have a 08 cultus EFI. The maximum RPM limit cutoff is at 5000 rpm when in gear or even just revving at standstill. Could a bad TPS sensor cause this ?

Can be the tps. Maybe it needs calibration

I know that every engine has a REV limiter but I believe cultus engine has 6500 RPM limit.

The Redline starts at 6500 but in noraml operation the engine goes slightly above that and then the limiter kicks in. This issue actually started after the throttle body service. you may check in this video also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZq2ogbF77A

I hope so, but the engine also feels sluggish now. The acceleration is not like before.

Throttle body hi saaf kia tha sirf, IAC valve aur TPS utar k. Really fed up of local mechanics, aik kaam theek kr k 2 khrab

I'll try to get it scanned from reputable place for any TPS fault. I believe the TPS is faulty or damaged after the service

@uzeemujeeb I tried everything but the RPM keeps cutting before 5500 RPM, also it is very erratic i.e. not regular cutoff like the RPM bounces every where from 5500 RPM to 4000 PRM when the limiter kicks in. Do you think this could be a timing issue? or spark plugs, or low fuel pressure ? Mechanics are saying that nothing is wrong but obviously this engine behavior is not normal.
