Cultus suspension over haul

Hello everyone
I own a 2004 cultus and its has clocked 250,000 kms this month.
Now the problem is that the cars suspension has completed its life.

The steering wheels has alot of play in it ,got it repaired but that lasted 100k km.mechanic at 3s says the whole steering assembly will get changed

3 out of 4 shocks have gone bad too. .got them changed around 120k kms back....they need to be changed too

The springs need to be changed too

When ever i hit a bump i can feel a hard dug dug threw my hands and it sounds as if something is broken...and a whole lot of rattling noise.....

got an estimate from the 3s people and its around 84 thousand for the four shocks and new steering assembly and bushes....

Is there any other option available for me despite the 3s guys....if i can buy the parts from Suzuki retailer and get all of that done in a local shop.

Can some body guide me to a good parts retailer and a reliable mechanic from whom i can get all of this done from in lahore

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

it sounds like your steering rack is not in good shape either. that is why there is play and the steering cross might also be bad, both these factors contribute to the jhatka in steering, when you go over bumps. also the noise.

for shocks and springs, get new ones, but not from 3s

the small bits can be sourced. but there is alot of fake stuff in the market. so you have to be super careful.

I usually recommend @syncview.

always install kabuli shocks, springs, i have a gud experience with them, i m also using that, 3S products i don't know y always expensive, check other market rates,

3S parts are brand new & geniune made to OEM spec they do carry some sort of warranty which stealerships are reluctant to offer .where as a kabuli part is in most cases a scrap condition part of some scraped or stolen car making the parts reliablilty doubtfull since it has already been used though the price difference is huge but nothing comppetes with new geniune parts in terms of reliablility and peace of mind

Kabli is a gamble...for springs it is always hard to find genuine products hence people go for Kabli but shocks are easily available brand new
