Usman Actually the Belt i brought was of same size same number of cuts, but was a bit loose and i really appreciate the mechanic, since he wasn't satisfied with it was reluctant to use it.
we called the spare parts dealer from which i bought it, and he said that this is the only belt that can be used in cultus, and then took his own taxi (thanks to ALLAH his driver was on leave) and we went to another spare part dealer, we boght the one with 97 teeth(as the one i already broght and the one which was removed from the car were of 98), but that was not fit. so we took all the three belts and went to the new dealer again. and we took another belt of 98 teeth of Mitusba. (the one i broght initialy was of Danyco or something like that).
The point was the old belt was tight as compared to the new one and the mechanic wasn't satisfied even the bearing and spring were set to the maximum stretch. the one from Mitsuba got fit, but still wasn't the best fit accordin to the mechanic.
Acccording to him he has been working as mechanic in saudia for last 14 years and came to pakistan some 4,5 months ago...
