Since the last few days i was in discussion about reparing the front suspenstion of my cultus. So here i am to tell you tht work is done.
Get this work done at Rawalpindi. "Gawalmandi"
Serviced the Steering Box (According to mechanic it was the ball joint that makes grr grrr noice , since it is the first time it is opened so i tell them to repair it)
Chimatas also get repaired . (According to mechanic the rubber bushes has been replaced in past but never been pressed before so its is also repaired. pressed & changed the bushes)
I wounder how it is possible for an 8 Years old car tht its steering box has never gone under repair work. same for. I bought this car 2 years back & no doubt it was in a very good condition.
Approx 98000 Km driven.
M curious to know the everage life of genuine steering box & chimtas, also AXels??
Axels "godey" was Ok so they they just greased it. Replaced last year.
Also changed the acclerator cable.
Cost
RS: 1500 For (reparing work+ labor cost) of steering box, chimtas & axels greasing.
RS: 450 for bushes of chimta.
RS: 500 Acclerator cable (The guy was asking 575 ended up with 500, says it is genuine, didnt search the markt abt prices i just do a one spot shoping)
RS 150 for wheel allignment
