I too have recently purchased a Cultus, I also happen to share the same name as thread owner, Usman! lol.

It seems to be pretty good car over all, but I should say, the quality control at Suzuki isnt the best!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, Ill surely post up pics tomorrow inshAllah, its a 2006 model btw, VXR on petrol( since my running is just 20-25 kms daily it really doenst matter) and white in color. Its a pretty decent car in good shape thats why I paid a little over the market.

One thing that I straight away did was install the sound system in it, now I do have some mechanical fixes that I need to care of is that I need to get the new seals for the engine tappets. Atleast that what I think it is. lol. Anyway, another thing is that my car is emitting some black smoke from the silencer, any ideas on why and any solution?

black smoke isn't a big problem Usman.. its because your air+fuel mixture is rich, means too much fuel and not enough air in the combustion chamber. All u need to do is to get your carburettor adjusted. no biggy

Thanks for the prompt response, thats exactly what my mechanic told me aswell, I will be giving the car for tuning very soon and hopefully these issues should be resolved then.

Thanks, now im looking to change the Tyres and maybe rims if I find good used set. Lets see.

I wanted to ask, what sort of interior and exterior polish do you guys use for the car? I am planning to polish the interior with a polish which goes by the name of Revive all, so ill post up pics of that soon.

any good polish would work, i have never been stuck to a particular product when it comes to interior. But its always good to keep your interior (particularly the dashboard) wet & polished.. not only that it looks good but it serves as a protection when ur car is parked under direct sunlight & heat.

car is going good Alhumdulillah and I am quite satisfied with the fuel consumption it gave me on GT Road.. I was going Lala Musa, I filled my cylinder from Sadar Cantt in Rs.355, went via thokar (drove almost 25km in city to reach thokar niaz baig), did three stops for namaz and dinner and the GT Road was busy coz of heavier vehicles (trucks and lorries) and the road is also terrible till Gujrat but still it did 184km with AC on all the time. On motorway it can easily go above 200km and without AC around 220-230km..so that isn't bad..is it ?
