Cultus VXR 2000, a gem, a real workhorse

MashaAllah today, the 19th of September, my Cultus VXR is exactly 10 years old now since the date of its purchase. Has clocked more than 1,96,500 km so far!

i recently tuned my car and also changed plugs as well but the fuel consumption remains same plz help me in this

clogged air filter (maybe).. also from where are you getting your cng filled? im experiencing low mileage (100-105km with partial use of a/c) from those filling stations selling at 46.99 or 49 something.. those selling at a rate of 53/kg give good pressure and i get the desired mileage, 130+ km with partial use of a/c.. do check.

ps note i have a 50kg cylinder installed..

u know what, i have also experienced a couple of such things recently. just 2 days ago a biker hit me from the back in a traffic jam, wasn't a major hit but did misaligned the rear bumper only just. & last sunday morning i heard the car alarm.. went out only to find a bunch of kids drawing artifacts on the driver side door of my car with some wooden stick..

good suggestion regarding the headlamps.. there are a few things in consideration but im really not sure whether i should get this done or not. i.e either to change the lights/ bumpers to the new ones (not the latest ones mind you ) or to retain its originality.. i also have to visit my denter since the rust around the wheel arches is spreading rapidly.. the denter also has the opinion that i should change the bumpers & lights to the efi ones.. but im still confused.. lets see what comes out.. will try to visit him again this week.

^^^ no do not change the bumpers to the EFI ones, its not that strong as compared to this.

For the head lamps get them cleaned I know the person near makro saddar who does that will be very much interested to help you getting her original looks back.

the wheel arches are the serious work, get them done ASAP.

So here we are:-

• Head Lamps - will be services from the shop near saddar makro (gora kabristan)
• If replacing the bumpers they will be replaced to the classic one not the new ones (crapy).

and for the add on, its all free -- LOL -- my mistake while parking it next to my house wall.

i am facing a problem with my a/c of cultus for last 2 days, as i gave it for service and tunning. The 5S dealers had changed its rpm setting from 1500 to 1000, so my question is that is this problem occurring due to that or its a/c needs service. Because i haven't done anything on its a/c yet.

DOnt no much on CNG settings,

But on petrol, my Cultus normal start is little below 1RPM with AC its goes little above 1RPM (approX 1.1 RPM).

sir i gave my car for tuning on monday and from that day i am facing this problem of a/c. Because at the time of tunning the workshop person change its rpm setting as mentioned above. So my question is that a/c is not working fine due to rpm setting or its a/c needs service

get your a/c checked from a pro, maybe the condenser needs to be starting at a certain rpm and due to the low rpm set its not been able to do so, just a wild guess..

I am using LEO diapers these days Medium 28pcs = Rs 320. So 320/28 = 11.42 Each.

But the large ones are 320/24 = 13.33. Yours is economical.

its time to get done some denting & touch-ups of my ride.. will have to leave my car at denter by Tuesday the 19th.. following will be done:

• rust occurring near wheel arches will be rectified
• signs of rust on the rear right corner of the roof (near the right rear door) & on top of front windscreen.. that has to be rectified also
• alignment of rear bumper
• repainting the areas where the color is fading
• rubbing

will be back on roads by 23rd October InshaAllah!
