Cultus VXRi 2008 Throttle body coolant leak

The coolant is leaking from the throttle body. The pipes going to the throttle body are not leaking rather the throttle body itself is leaking from the lower portion where the IAC valve is. It's basically leaking from the IAC valve housing and onto the pipes below. the leak is very slow but the IAC valve housing is always wet with coolant and car is reducing about 250ml coolant after a week.
I need some guidance as to what should be done to rectify the problem. Could it be that the IAC valve housing has corroded on the inside or is there a gasket there that I can repalce my self. Since summer is approaching I don't want to possibly damage the engine due to loss of coolant and overheating.

There is a gasket in IAC housing. You will need to change it. Becarefull when opening those 4 phillips head screws. They might jammed up badly due to corrosion. BTW, I have disconnected that coolant connection to TB. It will not hurt engine's performance at all.

Coolant flows to the throttle body for very cold starts. Since we live in Pakistan we dont need it unless in a very very cold area. I would think that bypassing it would be better.

We may bypass it but then how will it function properly without the proper engine temperature? I believe it keeps the RPM high on startup and reduces it when enigine temp is at optimal. Won't disconnecting it cause issues with the IAC operation?

Is the gasket available in market or will I have to make one from simple gaskit sheets available?
Is the IAC functioning properly even when disconnected?

Its a rubber gasket and available easily. Your IAC will work properly even coolant lines disconnected.

If you live in Karachi and Lahore just let the car warm up on idle. In an ideal world it shouldnt cause issues but in an ideal world you should open up the throttle body and auxiliaries and inspect them thoroughly, replace the corroded ones and buy a new gasket and follow the OEM procedure.

I'm in Islamabad where winters are extreme. I think I'll keep the pipes connected and replace the gaskit

Following OEM practice is always the best scenario. These should be available with spare part dealers. I guess you can find them in Khadda market. If not then 3S must have them
