Cultus: Which Clutch Pressure Plates to use?

I'm about to change the existing Clutch and Pressure plates of my Cultus 2004. The car is increasing the RPMs very early without picking the speed and accelerate slowly... This problem is quite evident over Petrol. Over CNG and AC it is not that much noticeable. I hope changing this will solve the problem.

Now which brand of product should I buy? The one my mechanic recommended was of FC I think (dont remember the name) the one used by Suzuki people and it cost around 3500. Is there any premium brand available also? And in which price range? If the pressure plates are real good in the car then its pick can be real good too... Your two cents please...

go for the stock clutch and pressure plate..

buy original products... if u r changing the plate.. change/check following items

clutch plate
pressure plate
thrust bearing

^^ Yes I'm changing all these three things. Yes I'll buy the stock ones, was just asking people if there are any other brand that has better quality.

You need to change full set. Set consists of Clutch Plate, Pressure plate, Thurst/Clutch bearing and Flywheel bearing. Please change all these four. Clutch plate and pressure plate is in one packing costs acound 3,500 and the premiure and only quality is "FCC" this is the brand which is already installed in genuine cars. Brearing are by TNT or NTN and costs around 500. Machanic will charge around 700 to 800 labour for doing the work. make sure do get it done in front of you. They have to tool the fly wheel, make sure its done perfectly otherwise will create vibration. Check the inner joint seals on the gear box for any leackge. I hve gone through the process so told you the details.

Are you sure it's the clutch/ pressure plate issue? What mileage do you have on your cultus? What areas has it mostly travelled?

A new driver if drives upto 40 50k, or you travel uphill frequently then the problem appears, your accelerator/rpm would be higher but spped would be slower, more noise. these are symptoms

Yes man I'm sure this is Pressure plate+Clutch plate issue, atleast I think so
Problem is the same as told by scorpion (err I mean choota scorpion)
My Cultus has drove more than 100K now Driven only in city conditions. And after this problem its fuel average has been come down to ~90 Kms on CNG+AC, before it used to give me 120 Kms for every tank fill.
I hope changing these will fix up the fuel efficiency also, as I'm losing about Rs.90 on every gas fill.

@ Zank: Never to mind such things bro, liked that comment, really.

When we got this car, I have only driven Mehran and I was a year old driver. Then practiced my sis on this car. 30% used by her 70% by me when at 40,000km we have to change the set. We use to travel a lot uphil to pirsohava so in my mind this and female drive the cluth plate to wear so early.

If you let any one practise driving on these cars, clutch and gear box is guaranteed to be messed up easily
Going uphills does not post that much a problem though in this concern, just keep in mind that not to chnage to higher gear levels on lower rpms going uphills. Better use petrol going uphill and CNG coming down
But whatever, these wear and tear are normal maintenance thingy in Suzukis. Just drive safely!

FCC Clutch & Pressure plate set installed in the car. The experience is just ok. No such fuel effeciency overall. By the way the previous Clutch plate in the car was in very bad shape, the old Pressure plate was ok, and I think thats why I'm not feeling any performance boost.

Price just same as scorpion mentioned above. Thanks to all for your time.
