(H)Assalaaam u Alaikum Car Guys and Gurus With some Limited Budget i am planning to start a complete restoration of Our beloved cuore which is under the use of my elder brother .. Unfortunately due to traffic conditions of Faisalabad and some busy routine of my brother this car has faced some serious wear and tear but alhamduLILLAH never been into an accident. So after taking the 6 years service we are planning to restore the comfortable car to the new look . I am seeking advises and suggestions in this process. My plans are:1- Complete Engine Overhaul with Japani Spare parts because original ones are too costly.2- Complete Suspension repairing including boots and bushes of joints and shocks.3- Change of Transmission Gears.4- Engine Bay Cleaning and Repairing5- Denting and Painting Job6- Fenders Change (front ones )7- Power Mirrors Installation Original designed for cuore imported from Japan(kaabli)8- Original RPM meter made for Cuore imported from Japan (kaabli)9- Original Power Windows and wiring imported from Japan (kaabli)10- Complete restoration of Rims (polishing and painting on booth)11- Brakes servicing, disks and plates replacement12- Audio Systems and speakers replacement 13- Spoiler and Body Kits installation (Japanese Cuore back trunk )

Good Luck for the restoration Usman. I think you should make an addition of changing the steering wheel aswell cause the original one looks yuck! Why are you changing the front left fender? All I can see is a small dent. Are you avoiding applying putty?
Salman bhai my dentor says that it has a lot of putty already on it.. the new paint wont give you the required look plus it has already been repaired twice so efforts will be wasted that's why he is changing both the fenders... he even insisted to change all the doors but i negated the idea Well Steering wheel is also in mind right now the budget has crossed the limit of 100k and not even a single work has been done
Ahh I see, then I guess go ahead with changing them [emoji14] Better take care of removing all of the rust as it can be a pain in future and is all of that rust on the floor? Or is it dirt?
Salman bhai it's a mixture of dirt and rust ... but my dentor is a keera he wont leave a single thing effected from rust ... baaaaki thanks alot bhai for your time and suggestions heartily felt
No problem at all man. I will try to help as much as I can. And my friend, that keera is a good thing, otherwise insincere painters often paint over it, not dealing with the rust itself.
Although floor of your car looks good but you can still coat a single layer of tar coal for protection as it is all exposed now for works.
Also you can remove dashboard ,clean blower all parts, clean chassis area, inspect heater core condition, wiring fuse box under dashboard can be repaired now easily. Also replace rubbers of floor now
Wasf dearest absolutely the things which were in my mind... as far as floor is concerned instead of black tar coal we will be applying white chemical which originally come in new cars... heaters and wiring would also be replaced as the old wiring is broken and repaired from many points ...
Luckily only the rings of the engine are needed to be replaced , the pistons , crank are saved... but new expenses are discovered including back shocks are leaked so they will be replaced ...
Please make some pics of carburetor & connections of ports with hoses where they attach.i want to restore my carb connections as in stock car but some are missing.
Wasf bhai Engine will be completed the day after tomorrow only then i would be able to make the pictures bhai... inshaALLAH as soon as i get the engine in assembled form i will post the pictures of carburetor as well as hoses ... alhamduLILLAH today suspension work is in progress and it will be completed by tomorrow morning inshaALLAH
Parts Purchase ... Clutch plate, pressure plate, Front complete disk and plate sets.. engine foundation bushes
Will you replace all engine parts with kabli? Clutch pressure plates newer aren't better then kabli? What is price of front wheels hubs? Also update prices in posts with pics of parts. Please share pic of that material too which will be applied on floor of car.Will you change complete wiring too?will it be kabli from old cuore/Mira or someone will make new wiring?

Wasf Bhai no i won't be replacing all the parts.... Newer clutch plates have sharper "fingers" which erodes the surface of the plate faster so my mechanic opted for Kaabli because it gives out more performance than the new ones... for prices i will be uploading the original bills today inshaALLAH... once car gets to the denter inshaALLAH i will be posting the pic of the chemical also ... no no original wiring is alhamduLILLAH safe ... only after market wiring of sound system and central locking will be changed cx it was weak and repaired ..
