hello,
i was thinking of buying a small automatic car for myself under the budget of 5 lacs. and the only such car available here is cuore automatic. how is the acceleration and top speed of that car compared to the manual one. i checked some sites and found out that its 3-speed automatic. whats that supposed to mean? im sorry i dunno much about cars so im looking forward to your suggestions. please tell me something about cuore automatic. how is the car overall and performance wise? thanks in advance.

three speed P for parking D for drive and r for reverse these are the three gears and cuore is a very nice and decent ride!!!!!

well..now therez a clash here..waise i think (and ofcourse i dunno much abt cars so it doesnt count much) what crazy425 said makes more sense..bcoz if a car has only three gears it wont be able to cross even 80-90 km/hr..and se saloon is 4-speed PROBABLY coz it has an option of overdrive as well..wat do u guyz say? and wat abt the acceleration and top speed of cuore automatic..no one said anything abt that...
yaar mujhay nahin pata iss ke top speed kittne hay ..as main na nahin chali.. and ya auto transmiion hay manual nahin kay 80 90 na hoo .. but top speed manual say kam he ho ge chay jo bhi ho .. and fuel bhi zaida khay ge ..
their r 6 gears P,D,R,N MENING NUTRAL 2 MEANING 2ND GEAR AND L AND 3 SPEED BECAUSE ONLY D,R AND 2 ARE COUNTED AS GEARS THTS Y GET IT !!!!!!!! check ur self in the pic!!!!!

oo bhi .. iss tara say to mare surf 91 kay bhi same ise tara hee hain .. orr jo 2 hay na .. ya sirf gare chari phalay and dosaray main he rakhte hay .. mostly use for charii charne ho . ya jaahin enjin ke power chayay ho speed nahin ...
crazy425 brothree speed automatic does not mean that it has 3 gear selections available at the gear knob. what it actually means is that the car changes it gear thrice i.e., for a four speed manual transmission we have to change gears 4 times. similarly the auto car changes gears 3 times automatically.
i did thank in advance check my first post, last sentence anyway thanks again for helping me out with the gears. One more thing i wana knw is abt the acceleration of this car. how would u compare it to acceleration of the manual one...lemme knw if anyone has driven this car..thanks

the cuore manual transmission says 5 speed..means changing the gear 5 times..means 6 gears which is not true..isnt it like that? and hey plz dont take it personal..just want to learn something abt this car...thanks
using manual transmission generally has better acceleration than automatic transimssion. it depends upon the car. for example formula1 cars are fully automatic during upshift. had that effected their perofrmance they woudnt have gone for it.
this ride has a awsome pick up but havent driven the automatic so dont know about tht but cuore rocks manual or automatic cuore is cuore!!!!!!!
5 speed manual means 5 forward gears. 1,2,3,4,5 and one reverse. its simple.
oh okay..so the final decision is that cuore auto has 4 gears..1,2,3,4 and manual one has 5 gears..1,2,3,4,5..y is the auto one gear short? y doesnt it have a 5th gear?
hey i have a great idea. why dont u visit an indus showroom and test drive both the variants. you will then know what to buy and what to leave.
i wud have done that..i dunno if they do that in khi but they dont give out the car for a test drive here in isb..anywayz..thx alot for your precious time
