Today I took car to mechanic he checked & said engine isn't heating up,only if the guage raises then he will accept it is heating,anyhow I decided to took car for 5-6 kilometers ride to check but surprisingly it didn't heat up today.Mechanic said he sincerely suggests not to tune this engine as he will do one work then another will come up,he says to replace engine with another one in good condition if I want to keep this car & also run air conditioner in summer.i discussed with my friend he says new engine costs 25-30k plus if I put new tires & some other work it will be around 60-70k so instead of spending this amount on this car it is better to sell it after learning driving,getting used to car systems etc as spending money on this car won't raise price of car & told me to buy a newer model by adding money.
I must praise PW forums & appreciate all guys who give sincere advises.i then took car to radiator shop & got radiator serviced, they flushed it, repaired, checked leakings etc, poured new coolant & water.So far it is running good.i showed to friend he checked & told water flow is good in radiator now but still on accelerating water comes out of radiator orifice when cap is opened,he said it shouldn't throw out water.
If you check my previous posts & threads I have mentioned about different seals leakage of my car,engine gives black smoke with oil,hubs were replaced at Toyota last month costing around 18K.
A PW member told about a mechanic in rawalpindi saying he does excellent engine overhaul & if he will do it once it will last very long.
Please give your suggestions should I go for engine overhaul, replacement etc or change car to newer model by adding money?My friend & different mechanics say car body is in good condition,seals are intact.
