general tyres r xcellent tires, i visited their factory here in karachi .. fully satisfied with their standards and quality control ... ur car seems to have rust on floor board get it checked .. do not buy chinese tires .. no unknown brands as well ...

Is there any treatment for rust?whom should I show for rust?when I bought car my friend checked then he said there is no rust,body is good & seals are intact.

WD40 is going to be intimidating to many as it is readily available and fairly cheap but, I will suggest you to do a bit more research before prolonged/repeated usage of WD40 underneath your car. The main reason is it is a major degreasing agent and later comes its lubing or anti-rust properties.

I recently bought a 2012 Cuore Automatic. Its 53k driven. I have changed its Engine oil to Mobil 2000 10/40 as previous owner was using ZIC A but I have good experience with Mobil.
Now i am going to change its Gear Oil, any recommendations for Gear oil? Should I go for Toyota or for Zic Gear oil?
2ndly there is a lot of sounds coming from its doors or from inside cabin, is there any way to kill these sound?
Any further recommendations/ process which I need to go through ?

Congrats and welcome to cuore fan club. Best oil in market matching specs is Zic gear oil FF. First you need to find the source. then you can ask mechanic to check. As for me, if i listen sounds from door for example, I will remove door panel and find vibrating items and use tape, silicone sealant, hard foam or anything that can help in that case.

there can be 2 reasons: leak(water body, some pipe, radiator) or head gasket!!!!
normally half cup of water is required after 6 months, in summer or winter

1 more issue Is the hard steering.The steering is very hard when I turn it on idle position however its smooth when the car starts to move. Is this normal ? I once drove a friend's cuore and its steering was just like power steering which rotates very smoothly. Do I need to check anything for this or this is normal?

to check that head gasket is fine, check smoke from exhaust, is water in radiator only, do head bolts need tightening? mechanic can check
for radiator it needs to be checked with air pressure applied and checked after few minutes. only toyota or some ac workshops have this and they check AC and cooling system with it.

Its not due to only efi, but lot of other factors which contribute to better fuel avg
My 2006 used to giv me 13 to 15 wid ac in city. And last September on way to Islamabad the maximum avg i achieved with ac was 21 on motorway.
Tuned engine. Clean air filter. Tire pressure. Balancing. Allignment. Qualtiy of fuel used. The way u drive. The road on which u drive and other factors.....they all hv to b in good condition to hv good economy.
Instead of spending this much on efi, spend for the factors above, and u will get a good result insha Allah.

My 2006 used to giv me 13 to 15 wid ac in city. And last September on way to Islamabad the maximum avg i achieved with ac was 21 on motorway.

I get fuel of 1000 & reset meter lower bar &remember position of fuel needle when again refill then count how much km done + I have android app I add the actual reading of meter & then again when I refill it shows how much KM done.Didnt get full tank fuel till now.
I asked electrician again about EFI today he told he got it done from peshawar,his model is 2000 manual he says car reduces oil too.My car don't reduce oil but condition of engine is poor,leaked seals,radiator reducing water etc.He told me his car did 150Km in 6 litres petrol.My car does 150 in 1000 Rs petrol.Also senior PW member CervinVega recommends to convert to EFI for better mileage.You have advised nicely too for better mileage,all these factors you mentioned contribute to a better mileage.

Yar measuring avg by remembering needle position is not accurate, ur car may b giving more than 10. Go for full to full tank with auto off at least 2 3 times.
I suggest that instead of spending 15 20 k at once for efi, spend gradually on other factors i mentioned above. If affordability is probem, set a budget every month, list out the work to be done and make it month by month.
Ur car will get better gradually.
Also look for other mechanics as alternate option. Dont always rely on same mechanic.
Consult few more senior pw members aswell.
