whenever i open the bonnet, the petrol smell is always there. it's really worrying me now. thinking about changing it now.
can you please share that how much will it cost me for having a new fuel pump ?
anything else to change other than the fuel pump ?

happened to me too, turned out that one of the pipes which brings petrol from and back to tank was leaking
to diagnose start the car, open the bonnet and see if you can find any of pipe leaking. should be easy to spot as petrol would be flowing

dont remember the fuel pump cost, will let you know after going home and checking from old invoice record.
you should also consider the problem tracing method suggested by @faridahmed. if pipes are ok, then look on the fuel pump, there may be some leaking marks on it. Also have opinions from different mechanics (if you dont want to visit 3s dealer)

there was a pipe that was leaking. i did replace it but it was a long time ago. no smell after that but now it has again started to come. but i will again check for any leaking pipe

So yesterday went to toyota walton motors for cabin noise remedy.
Got transmission and engine mounting change, now al ham dullilah 90% of noise has gone.

After I got my AC service from punjab car AC, its working perfectly. though it was good before as well, but after evaporator service, its cooling is much muhc improved.
