Cuore Vs Mira. Which one to buy?

Hi friends,

I want to do a short comparison of Daihatsu Cuore and Daihatsu Mira, so i can decide better which one to buy. I am looking for 2009 and up models of any of these two. Please tell me about these cars in the following aspects

Cuore Vs. Mira

Comfort
Performance
Availability of spare parts
Fuel Consumption
Resale

I know Mira's engine is 660 cc and Cuore is 847, but I heard Mira manufacturers are boasting its engine power is as good as any 800 cc car. Is that true?

Awaiting your sincere suggestions, as I really want to get one car this week.

Coure is better than mira all the way

Don't just say Coure is better then mira, just need to tell us the following thing, then only we can know the cuore is better then MIRA

1)- what is the fuel consumption (petrol) of MIRA & CUORE

2)- What is the CNG consumption (how many kilograms cylinder)

these two above are most important things to analyize what is the better like me middle class people

brother , I dont know about fuel consumption but mira is much more comfortable safe then coure. but again aatay aatay 8lac ki hojati hai:)

Mira is better in fuel consumption , it gives 16 km/l in city driving wid ac so no need of cng
In pickup wise mira is far better den coure , better brakes , air bags , etc ,
Mira is way ahead in terms of comfort then coure

Don't know about spare parts or resale , but u can fine 2009 model in good condition for 750k , go for Mira

I have read one thread two to 3 weeks back there was mention CUORE have cuore gives in 30 to 35 Kilometer per 1 kilograms CNG

I need special advise if any one haveing CUORE, please confirm?

I know all about MIRA but don't know about CUORE and as per my knowledge MIRA gives 20 to 23 Kilometer per Litter (patrol), I need to know about CUORE (Petrol & CNG) both

bhai jee in petrol consumption mira manual gear gives easily 18-19 km/l in city with ac and on highway 23 to 25km/l
u cant go with cng in mira, resale of coure also not very good but sure spare parts expencive and may hard to get for mira
performance, safty mira far better, seeing serious shortage of cng in coming days so better to go for economical car on petrol ( mira is 660cc and coure 850 cc)

Coure is a trash can ! What does Coure have ? Pathetic interior ancient technology carby engine rubbish built quality
Mira is a thousand times better than Coure !

@fahadsoulsnatcher911: Sorry brother, that was quite harsh about cuore its not a trash can. its far better than suzuku ... all of suzukis

About consumption, I am using 2008 model cuore for the last 4 yrs, mostly on CNG. Its going pretty good on CNG, in 8 kg gas (55 lbs), it runs 170-180 km within city. I haven't measured on petrol, but if you have a good setting for petrol, I am sure it will run around 14km / litre.

I am looking for mira for my self, will sell cuore if I find one.

Consumption of Mira, I have heard from many people that on petrol its around 18km / litre. On highways, it goes upto 22 km / litre, but haven't drove it myself so cannot claim.

@Faeez916: brother, can you tell me where to get 2009 mira in 750k? Which city you are talking about?

coure carries a carburetor engine so engine efficiency maximum could be 11 to 12km/l and not more than that. I have kept coure for 2 years.. Mira is EFI, and is 660 cc so it can catch upto 15 to 16 km/l on petrol apart from the fact that people say it does 20km/l which is not possible in cities at all.. Mira has bad resale and worst part is its availability of parts, i read somewhere people have issues finding its air filter... And second of all, Coure has a stronger resale... Lastly if u are considering to buy an imported car, I have kept Suzuki Wagon R for a few months, the car is good, roomy, and the modified version can be found in market, no issue in market for parts and i sold it for the amount i brought it easily in a few months only...

In Pakistan when it comes to parts availability, you can compare Mira with a Suzuki mehran even..
