Cultus VXLi 2010, mornibg mai sahi park ki magar sham mai jab start karnay laga to start he nahi horahi thi, phr I have checked normally plugs wire and fuses but no problem foubd in any where, I had tried again and suddenly started or phr mai nikal gaya for home, then after 1.5 hour achanak gari band hogai oor phr maine mechnic ko dikhai to coil se jo wire distributer mai jata hainos mai no spark.

mchnc said k coil faulty hai but the similar cultus se coils replace kar k dekha to same issue k no spark.

is there any one who can help.or adviceon this plz

You need to first check the switched +12v going into the coil.
1. See if you're getting voltage on it with the ignition switch turned on.
2. While you are at it, take out one of the grips of the injectors and test for a pulse on it with a test light while cranking the car. It should show a pulse while cranking. There will be two pins in the connector. The pulse needs to be checked with one end of the test light connected to one pin of the connector and the other end connected to the other pin.
3. If there's no pulse, you are not getting the signal from the ecu.
4. Check if the ecu is turning on. If the check engine light is turning on when you turn the ignition switch, your ecu is turning on, if its not, check the ecu and the allied wiring.
5. Check the crank sensor. The contact on it may have water residue, not allowing it to work properly.
