I have some questions. Please guide me in clearing these doubts.
I bought a car from a showroom. About a month ago. The car was custom auctioned clear 2023. which means the car was unregistered. I checked all the custom auction documents and the car was fully clear from customs. He gave me the documents file and told me that the car is clear from all types of authorities Like customs, laboratory, etc and registration has been applied from Islamabad excise on his name. And if I want to register on my own name I can register by applying with my documents.
So I bought the car and sent it to the workshop as it had some work to be done. After a week or two I checked the file to apply for registration and saw there was a document which was from the laboratory. Which stated that the car chassis was tempered and that's why the car got confiscated. But after that the car got custom auctioned and everything got clear by the government.
Now my question is, is there any serious problem owing the car?

Ps. The car has not been registered but documents have been applied through Islamabad excise and he told me to forward my Cnic to him to get it registered on my name.
