its applied at the factory in Japan - all new wagon land cruisers are from there or China.

I was thinking the same to consider that however some friends & family advised me to go for the imported one.

So the best thing which came in my mind was to import one Land Cruiser or Prado directly from UAE

But the duty structure is sooo frustrating !! Like 384% pay kerna is pagal pan. !

Paying 384% is actually ridiculous, I had two options though Nissan Patrol 2019 or 2020 / Land Cruiser per I guess I'd have to drop the idea.

Actually I was getting a Land Cruisee VXR 5700CC here for 260,000AED

If you see price wasn't bad as well so I thought to get it and import.

Currently I have Pajero 3.8 GLS Top of the Line which is 2014 model, as it is 6 years old so I won't be able to import that.

I took a quote from Emirates Skycargo as well and they've quoted 22,000AED. I have used there services earlier as well and had very good experience which is why I went to them.

Yes. Used cars prices abroad are comparatively less, when compared to here, however, when it comes to Customs duties, and other taxes, etc. then overall price of the car / SUV, etc. gets very high.

I think NO. Customs duties are the same in all the 03 schemes.

Imc also pay duties on it but the prices they deal in are not retail when they import it and it’s the right model for Pakistan, Made for fuel available in Pakistan.

If IMC offers LC ,so why People import LC's direct from Japan? why people not buying from IMC?

Imc sell and service a lot of land cruisers

The Japanese orphan land cruisers are usually smuggled scrap, and used car dealers of Pakistan bought them cheap at auction to sell to naive locals. They are not able to do that anymore that’s why most of these seasonal used car dealers are now selling cattle.

Brother,Japanese Used LC's are best in condition and people all over the world loved it,how Pakistani used car dealers bought LC's cheap at auctions? Whats the current auction price of LC ZX 2017 at USS Japan?

IMC also imports used LC's from Japan but they are not the full optional ZX, these all are AX ,then they update here for Paki People......... IMC se LC bohat expensive milti hai as compared to Imported one.

I guess price of LC after importing it from Japan or any other part will be more expensive. I'll tell you why, the price IMC quoted me is 48,000,000/- VX 4.6 Petrol that's the top of the line version.

And if I'm importing it from UAE then the expected cost that I'd have to pay about 60,000,000/-.

Here 2020 Land Cruiser 5.7 VXR costs about 300,000/- AED and if you expect about 400% duty on it then the total cost will be about 1,500,000/- AED which is equivalent to about 60,000,000/- PKR

The only advantage that I'm getting is UAE version is 5700CC however IMC manufacture's 4600CC.

You are right and no doubt the condition is very good of those cars but tell me is it worth to pay duties of 384% on it.
