aoa all
today i had some family commitment at 615pm so i decided to get off from work at round 6 ,my office is in liberty market nd i usually park my car near exit of liberty market which i did today also, i was walking towards my car (BMW M3 2005 MODEL the only m3 in pakistan of this model to my knowledge) as soon as i opened my car three gentelmen in shawar qameez came u to me and tried to act all bossy witth me and asked me that your car is NCP you have to come with us to our office. 2 of them were in white shalwar kameez n the third one in security gurad like gray olord shwalwar kameez whichhas badge pcustomz ON IT, ANYWAY i asked them who were they and how can they acuse me , they said its not for them to prove but it was otherwise i had to prove that my car was agenuine one . I asked them that they were wasting there time n so mine but they told me not to move n act smart n come to thier office with them and take my car after verification , i refused to go with them and asked them to come to my office and wait for papers but they refused .They kepy on insisting to take the car to their office but my answer was constant NO
then i was reminded that i had copy of BL import bill n duty on me which i gave them n they started calling here n there to verify it in the mean time i asked friend of mine to bring the origionals
Meanwhile they insited that they has already caught two NCP s in liberty whhcwere sports cars so this one must be also one like those anyways i kept myself kool n waited for papers
after 15 mins papers were there n then after 39 mins of verification through diff computer ppl in their office they declared my claim to be rite n agreed that i had paid full duty n customs n asked me to have a cold drink which i refused n asked them IT WAS ok
now i have fllowing queries???
1)WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PUBLIC HUMILIATION FOR THOSE MINS WHEN THEY WERE VERIFYING THEY SAID IT TAKES 2 MINS BUT THEIR IT GUY WASNT THERE SO IT TOOK LONG
2) ALL OF THEM WERE IN SIMPLE SHALWAR QAMEEZ N BORE NO IDENTIFICATION CARD FRM DEPARTMENT SO HOW ONE DIFFERNTISTE BETWEEN N DACOIT N A CUSTOM GUY
3)AFTER VERIFICATION SHDNT THERE BE AN OFFICIAL WRITTEN LETTER SAYING VERIFIED OR ATLEAST THANKING FOR CO OPERTION OR SORRY FOR BOTHERING ....
4)SHDNT THERE BE AN ONLINE SYSTEM WHERE WE CAN ALL VERIFY THE CLEARANCE PAPERS WHILE BUYING CAR FRM MARKET
