I need some expert,s guidelines about my car was banned (Toyota Hilux surf) due to model modification. I exchange my Toyota Hilux surf 1987 into 2000. but the problem is 1987 chases is not fit in 2000 body so i cut my old chases number and welded on new chases. but during custom police checking my car was banned due to tempering.
my file and all documents is original.
is any possible way to out my car?

Cut and weld chassis is offence and that specific vehicle will be impounded and later on disposed off in scrap.

Go to custom court and submit a statement that you have purchased the vehicle as is and let you take the custody and submit the body tax if it is approved an aproximate estiatebof around 3-8 million will be imposed as tax and your vehicle will be cleared if you can prove in court that chassis is not tempered

Such modifications need to be documented and cleared from police. You should have police certificate of chasis burn or reweld.

Else you have no other option.

as admitted above you committed a crime sir @pwuser174137143884 and your bad luck put you in tight corner. You may try court however that will cost you time and monies more then vehicle worth. If somehow you manage the release, the vehicle will remain flagged and classified as 'tampered'.

Of course hind sight is always 20/20, which bring me to the question: If you wanted a 2000 model, did it no occur to you to sell the 1987 and just buy a 2000 model? As all the other people have said moving the chassis number from one car to another, you have committed a crime. That is a crime in all countries of the world. Think about it: the chassis is different, the body is different so basically you have a totally different car with the chassis plate and papers from a totally different car. How can you justify that the car you have "created" has any DNA left over of the old car? So basically you are running a fake car on 1987 papers. I bet you thought you would never be stopped by the police and would get away with it. As @dani_kk and @chinyoti and others have said, There is no way out from this mess.

Despite what may happen, certainly the car is no longer re-sellable.
