D.I.Y-----Fixing front bumper of my Fiat

Hi All,

Last Friday some one hit my cars front bumper in parking & it was hanging from left due to broken locks/mounting. on saturday i call beeberg & we decide to fix it our selv. I reached at beeberg place at 1530Hrs.

Then i have mango treat from Beeberg. Mango are from Beeberg's village & are very delicious.

Then we start our work. Car with hanging Bumper

First we remove front Grill

Me (Iman Bhatti) repairing locks for left side of bumper

Metalic Strip used as mounting to fit bumper with
chassis under the front grill

1) We took two aluminium strips about 5inches long & make two holes on both sides.

2) then bend strips in to L shape
The one side of the L mount was fixed at bumper & the 2nd is on chassis.

Another job done on my Fiat Uno was its engine bay cleaning & body cleaning which was solely done by Beeberg i will post details later about the 2nd job on Uno.

Can u please tell me the price of front bumper for FIAT. New or used whichever? Lahore surely is cheap for FIAT parts. Juse need to know the price.

gimme time till this weekend, me and imranbhatti are planning to purchase some tools or kits and we will definitely ask for fiat's bumper price. LOL bumper's price

Its me applying water before cleaning the engine bay.
unfortunately we all were so much busy in diferent d.i.y that it was hard to take pics.
anyways next time this thing will be taken care of.

imranbhatti do post engine bay pictures as it was bad before cleaning but post new pics if it is cleaned properly coz it was dark and could not see it properly.

saqib bhai do tell me what is this, we found it behind the bumper. i feel it is a shock absorber for bumper.

I have the exact same question i dont know what it is. Seems like a devide to give some flexibility to the bumper. BUt i am not sure.

Rear Bumper Italian is available for Ruppes 3800/- while front will be available at same price by next week.

Its cheaper for me even after expenses of fuel for lahore trip which also includes a chance of meeting wonderfull people I wont take names here coz if i miss someone. i will be ruined

Bro u r always wellcome & we can provide u services if u wana repair ur Car's bumper or any thing. Believe us the way we fix my car's bumper is never adopted by denters/mechanics they usualy repairs things with support of steel/copper wires which is very week & temporary solution if ur car bumper is still in good shape & only locks & mounting are broken then this the easiest & sheaper way to fix Bumper with its full strength

when fiat came into my home, i told imranbhatti that saifi has his charade in this condition with all dirt around it.

i got the pics when it arrived then we started bumper fixing, then in my charade light and tape was fixed. by then i started cleaning his fiat but after a full job it was all dark so couldnt take pics.

i think imranbhatti can do it. if it is not that much dirty.
