here's a plan what i feel could work out am just giving it here let's c what other members say.first of all some major things u need.
1.Seat to sit on,normal seat used commonly for swings in parks can be used u can also fabricate it with foam or rubber as per ur comfot level.
2.then u need to weld an iron frame which could hold the seat,the engine,axles(suspension)
3.now comes the engine placing ,its totally upto u that wheather u wana make it a frond wheel or a rear wheel the engine mountn\ing can be done respectively or even it can be made four wheel drive.
4.make steering conection to the front axle.
5.make leaver for shifting gears with clutch on it u can take a lookl at occ chopers for insistance such a gear along with the cluth mounted on it is commonly called suicide gear.
now all the engine work will be based on sprokets and chains to make the wheels rotate. i just gave a start now what do u think?about the idea
i personally prefer engine in the front with a pop shaft/drive shaft running to the rear axle or if u wana do it without such complications then simple a sproket with the chain over it wielded inbetween the both wheel rods or the axle which would make the rear wheels spin.
