i swapped d17a in my 1997 honda civic..it is not giving good average..it is making 10 11

What do you consider a reasonable average from a 1.7l NA engine?

but it is not giving any performance.. Its rpm cutoff is 6400

It's not a performance engine, just a stroked SOHC D16. Not advisable to rev it past the indicated redline. And considering the fuel mileage that you're getting, it's working as it's supposed to, and not under performing. Should have gone with a DOHC engine if you wanted some power and tunability.

Which ecu is in your car?
If Rpm is cutting of before the actual limiter then it's probably from anyother engine.
Look for the part number of d17A2 and cross check it with the ecu you have.
