I have recently installed D17A2 in my civic 2004 prosmatic, initially it was showing engine light if rpm goes over 3.5 on single vetc installed, then mechanic installed dual vtec in it but recently I have noticed it's very slow in hilly area.

Before I had D15B in my civic exi and it was very good in hilly area but this one is very slow.

Any body know the reason ?

Which ecu your car got?

Previously the car had D16W9, I think it's the company fitted ecu. I don't know the exact name though.
How can I check?

Engine need matching ecu to work right.
Share the picture of sticker located on ecu casing.

"PLR" is code for d17a2.
