A three years back , in rwp/isb rates were almost same as compare to current market rates for Daewoo.

I had idea that a very good stock daewwo would be available in that market around 270K to 300K. isnt it true????

yup and 4 yrs back ma cousin purchsed it for 180k and now its value is around 300k

yes , there is possibility of negotiation on pakwheels , so one can buy excellent daewoo in 300k ,
any one can not give his excellent condition car less than 300k unless he is bound due to some unavoidable circumstances.

I have noticed that rates of daewoos posted for sale on pakwheels have been exceded Rs 300,000/- and ranges from 320K to 340K even for standard cars?
Is it in accordance with the market rate of RWP/IBD or have been just inflated.....

U r right dear, I have also experienced that in RWP/ISB market, a well maintained and good condition Daewoo Racer cost u around 325K (with a little +/-), its true not only for 2001 registered cars but even 96/97 registered cars (which are in exceptionally good condition) have same value.
I don't agree with the idea that prices are constant for last three years, I remember that 3 years ago one could get a very good condition Daewoo Racer in around 275K range.

i purchased my daewoo (99reg) in 2007 in 260k , now in 2011 i can sell my car in 270k Plus , price keep constant in case if i kept my car well maintained , so that logic matters

My car brake paddle takes jerks due to Tawa curves. Some people recommends tawa grinding but it make sthe tawa thinner. Mechanic advises to fix the leather on tawas instead of grinding.
I know asad has opted for tawa grinding for his woo in near past but still i need your opinion about both of these options.

If the rotor is reasonably thick, griding is good option, provided the lathe machinist do it accurately, otherwise the symptoms might get worsen. I didn't get it what your mechanic has advised you regarding fixing of leather on rotors!

What we call it in urdu is " taway per leather lagana and then may be grinding it again ".....

i got done tawa grinding job (through mechanist)under supervision of Mian khan , and now my car is very smooth while braking,

i had the same issue as stated before a week or two ago!
i have replaced my "debo" rotors with new ones.. the wobbling issue is solved .. havee grinded them too from an experienced lathe man

@Shah73: Pl explain what is fixing leather on the rotors, seems to be a new stuff but definitely not a good option. Better grind if you have sufficient thicness or buy new ones

@All: Are the original Daewoo side mirrors (complete Assembly) available in market (new/old ??) and for how much? I just need the driver side complete.

Well debo is just a nik like Bebo lol

coming to the point.. i have spent total of 900 with labor charges for new rotors..
polishing the new rotors is not recommended by the quality spare manufacturers. But as we cant get that gud quality spares here and to make the disk surface smoothen we have to polish or grind them on lath machine..

i want to know what is actual piston size installed in woo. When opened head of my woo, i found it that first it have installed sleave and 100 mm piston size, now they will put sleave and install standard size piston.
