On last sunday, i carried out another task of my car to increase its interior elegance i.e. interior roof poshish.
previous poshish was of carpet which looked very odd. I was lucky enough to find genuine poshish cloth of cars like suzuki baleno. color matched with the daewoo interior. shopkeeper informed that he bought this cloth very first time in tehy market and was not availabnle in the market earlier.

he demanded RS 1200 and then settled to 800. but interior now looks ............ MashaAllah.

@All: Are the original Daewoo side mirrors (complete Assembly) available in market (new/old ??) and for how much? I just need the driver side complete with adjusting mechanism etc.

I am Asbar javaid, i am using daewoo racer model 1992 converted to cielo in 2004, the engine is 1.5 DOHC .
I am having a problem on petrol and the mechanics are unable to spot it,
the problem is that, when I switch the car to petrol....it starts missing after 1 to 3 minutes rpm goes down and eventually leading to stop the engine, after that I switch off the car then again turn it on and then start again. then again this cycle repeats.
now, the fuel pump is working, changing it does not work,i have changed the oil filter.
what can be the problem,
please help me.....

1. Did you mechanic check the fuel lines for choking? If not, get them checked first.

2. Did you mechanic check the fuel return line? There is possibility of malfunctioning return valve too. To resolve the issue, the return valve needs to be replaced.

3. The problem can also be due to the fuel pump relay, when it heats up, it looses power. To resolve the issue, the fuel pump relay needs replacement.

4. Did you CNG installer installed a. emulator b. he put a power T in the fuel line c. Direct connection from CNG switch; to control the petrol supply while the engine is run on CNG?

a. If emulator is installed, get it checked for malfunctions.

b. If he put a power T, it will exert too much back pressure on the pump causing it to prematurely fail, and is not at all recommended in an EFi engine. The power T might be faulty. Better install an emulator

c. Ask an electrician to install a relay to control the fuel pump through CNG switch.

the mechanic checked the fuel lines and there is no chocking.
The mechanic didn't check the return line...i'll get it checked.
The fuel pump is new and working alright, I changed it to see any betterment but nothing happened.
the CNG mechanic installed a emulator and its working fine, Mechanic checked it.
the fuel pump is already connected with the CNG switch

is fuel pump relay something outside the pump????? because i changed the fuel pump but I dont know about the relay......

i Found the relay.....i Couldnt understand your last point.....direct switch to control the fuel?

I am not aware about its educated rule, but this practice is common in the market for majority of the cars. I came across the same thing as well after engine overhaul.

to kiya apka engine acha perform kar raha hay abhi ke nahin?
maine to us ko kaha ke tum khud hi is ki running karo jab dobara tapets tight karne ho to mujhe bata dena aur mere samne karna, us ne kaha thek hay,
aj us ne kaha hay a jao, main check karta hon ke kiya banaya hay mere woo ka engine ka

i think there is no need of re-adjustment of Daewoo's tappets , coz its having hydraulic tappet , i got overhauled my engine in july , after that my mechanic never touched again my engine. its running smooth.

What should i do, i have spent a lot of money on it and fear for a dreadfull overhaul again from some one else.

do you observe noise from engine? wat type of noise? may be after first oil change (after 1000km) problem got solved. i felt my engine more smooth and silent after first oil change.

yes it sounds too much, i have seen many daewoos running very smooth with no noise at all.

temperature is also rising above normal, which i have observed in my woo

awesome pick ,great mileage with no heatup issue, no vibration at all. and i am satisfied
with all work.
Mian khan is one of the best Daewoo specialist in town.

you are lucky, i have spend 18,000 last time not more than 4 months ago and now also spent 23,000,

engine is also getting hotter and stops working on first gear and pick is not good, and when ever i lower gear from 4 to 3 or 3 to 2, i heard jerk sound, as we are driving in wrong gear.

mechanic is unable to tune it on petrol he says that one of the sensor is not working properly and providing more fuel than normal. which sensor is involved here?

what MAP sensor do?
