My cousin is using a Daewoo for the last 14 years. He bought it brand new.
For the last two years he is facing a problem in the Airconditioner unit.
During thirteenth year of service the compressor packed up. A second hane compressor was bought from Bilal Gunj which did not work.

Mechanics are advising to the system to the japanese car's system that is go for a Denso or Sanden unit.

Quite frankly he does not know wot to do. Kindly advise;

Sanden is highly recommended for Daewoo ,

i showed it to electrician and he told me that the generator is weak and i should replace it.

Yaar same happened with me few days ago, I changed both the generator and the battery as well, bt in the end I made conclusion that it was actually the battery that was the culprit, first get ur battery checked, if thats fine then check ur generator, u can get ur generator checked from sultan ka Khu rwp!!!
I bought AGS 80amp battery for 4300 (gave the older one with it)
used suzuki carry generator for 1500 (gave the older one with it)

@ shamiz_pk there is no kabli saman 4 daewoo in peshawar...main nay sara shuba bazar chan mara hay...waha to kisi say daewoo ka pocho to un ko pata he nhi hota kay daewoo kon c car hay...pindi main ik he chor hay kher mohammad...mujhay kisi nay kaha tha kay bilal gunj main saman mil jata hay daewoo ka mostly.....yeh kher mohammad black mail karta hay saman ki shortage bata kar hala kay is nay ghar main bohat sari daewoos kat kar rakhi hui hain........

Thanx for your response. In fact I got the cell number of Hameed Khan (0301-4782499) from DFC (page 95). He is in Peshawar. I called him 5 to 6 days back. I asked him about gattay etc and he told me the price that was much less than what people are charging here in Pindi/Isb. He told me to come to shuba bazar but also asked me to call before coming to Peshawar. If you guys want some parts you can also call him (even for testing). I have still to decide whether to go to Peshawar or not.
Besides, I would be thankful if you can give some suggestion regarding gattay. As I already told, my doors are fine, and have power windows already. Where and how can I find ceilo gattay for my Racer and at what price?

All this looks so strange. My mechanic says it costs 22000-25000 just for ceilo gattas. THe guy in Peshawar asked Rs. 16000 for the same. I think there is a lot of exploitation going on.

sir daewoo parts kafi mehangay ho gaye hain....1 sal pehlay main nay daewoo origional gatay with powerwindow n origional tinted glass kay sath pata kiay thay to 13000 kay thay...n there is a lot of difference in look b/w cielo n daewoo gatta...if hameed khan is asking 16000 for cieloo gata i think it is reasonable...i met hameed khan one time ,he is nice guy..but he arrange parts on demand...best of luck..plz chek the daewoo fantasy front bumber from him with price?thanx

Thanx for feedback. Now I will check for gattas from Hameed Khan, hopefully by the next weekend and inshallah will let you know about gattas and bumper as well.

I have seen a Dawoo Racer here in Islamabad. That vehicle is Rawalpindi Registered and green painted. Steering and Dash Board is changed with Corolla. The person is asking Rs 215,000. The vehicle is in running condition not so good not so bad.

Is this price is good to buy?

in current market situation, 215K is ok for a normal condition daewoo, can't say anything about altration issue (dashboard, steering etc.)
