I have seen a Dawoo Racer here in Islamabad. That vehicle is Rawalpindi Registered and green painted. Steering and Dash Board is changed with Corolla. The person is asking Rs 215,000. The vehicle is in running condition not so good not so bad.

Is this price is good to buy?

price is good , but i will not suggest u to buy altered one.

Guys, as v all know that old parts of CIELO can be pruchased from old parts dealers in different cities but I want to know if it possible to purchase a complete car in one or at the most 2/3 pieces from anywhere like Torkham or Sawat etc.? if anybody know details about it plz share on the forum. Thanx

Yaar same happened with me few days ago, I changed both the generator and the battery as well, bt in the end I made conclusion that it was actually the battery that was the culprit, first get ur battery checked, if thats fine then check ur generator, u can get ur generator checked from sultan ka Khu rwp!!!
I bought AGS 80amp battery for 4300 (gave the older one with it)
used suzuki carry generator for 1500 (gave the older one with it)

changed the battery now its also 80 amps and purchase it for 3600
genetor is also chekhed and the electrion said me to replace it but yesterday i went to gujrat and showed it to an electrion after checking he just changed the positive terminal and now its working well and yesterday i used defroster with lights on and wipers on and everything was normal

Dear same happened with me i first checked the battery the electrician fully charged the battery and after starting the car he checked the current from the generator the charging was not ok so he advised to replace the generator i bought the generator of mitsubishi lancer and replaced it now it's working fine and i have also taken my car to kohat then gadoon and attock its working fine if your generator is not working fine it will show the battery light i think its due to charging when its not charging it will show you the light in your speedometer and battery of the car dried up then it means that your generator is out of order it must be replaced.

chha gaye hain sirr gee, waise u can buy a cheap complete karachi/peshawar number car and can use it for parts!!
i have noticed a new trend that instead of 86 corolla pathans prefer buying a daewoo

daewoo racers were the smugglers dream in the 90's as i have heard from some of them " daewoo bhagti bohat ha " and yes its true..

:D, yaar the idea is a bit differnet, plan is to buy a cheap Isb/Rwp number RACER (with good and intact chases) and replace everything else by CIELO, and instead of purchasing CIELO parts separately, purchase complete CIELO and use it for the purpose.
U r right, DAEWOO is quite IN now, specially in ISB/RWP market and thats why its price and parts cost is increasing.

hahahahah nice...sahi kaha hay shiekh sab...main to apni car ko 5th gear main chalanay say darta ho...ik dam he speed pakar leti hay....ik to masla yeh hay kay wah cantt main signals bohat hain....ab top speed chek camera bhi lagatay hain...:o

Ya he is a nice, decent and helping man. I have heard him doing all kinds of Daewoo stuff from engine, A/C to Cielo conversion. His electrician is also good.

Yet to know someone's comments about him regarding engine overhaul and rings change. Anyone wanna comment on his skills as I am also interested in this question???
