wana ask a question to daewoo users... cng p kia average deti 55 L cylinder me in city. tell me acual average.

I travel daily between Wah and Islamabad, mostly on motorway and some time on GT road. I get an average of 20 Km/KG. In 55 cylender we get 8-10 KG of gas (depending upon pressure of CNG station), means I get 160-200 km in full cylender. During long drive (when going to lahore) on motorway with 10kg gas filled in cylender, I'v experienced 210+ km as well. no idea about city drive.

hi all i just bought a daewoo cielo from a family member and when i have it in neutral i cant seem to hold it dead on 2000rpm it jumps up 100rpm after about a second does any one know what is causing it

Dear all,
I m looking for some good wheelcups for 13" stock rims of my daewoo racer. I'v checked Melody market and G-10 market here is Islamabad but didn't find something good. mostly shopkeepers suggest Margalla or Balino cups but I am not interested in them. another option is to buy origenal daewoo wheelcups from Federal Autos (though it is expensive i.e. Rs. 3000/- for complete set). Can anybody suggest some other place in Islamabad or Rawalpindi to find more better options?

I think Federal Autos is the only option. The material of those wheel covers is soft and heat resistant unlike the cheap plastic ones. The cost of the wheel cover was Rs.2200 few years back.

A. Who is the best skilled person to do Daewoo Engine Rings replacement or if required with good judgement a Complete Overhaul (as one daewoo in my family is running with decreasing oil issue for 2 years now)

B. Also pl give some tips if guys can (as I dont want to end up in trouble)

C. Similarly to fix A/C issue, recommended mechanic?

C. Furthermore which tyres are better 175/70 R13 OR 185/70 R13, any considerable effect on mileage.

At this forum no one talks of him but I have read a hype about Mr. Moon and Mian Khan being experts and reasonable rates (I have never tried them,Would you comment a lil on comparison as these three as this will surely make my decision easy)

Almost 80% of Daewoo mechanics in Islamabad/Rawalpindi have started their work from Federal Autos, so everyone has got the same training :). I know Tahir since 2001 and he himself is good mechanic. I don't have any experience with Mian Khan and Moon so can't comment.

I am using 185/70 R13 Dunlop LM701 from the last five years. I am satisfied with their performance.

you are not very regular to this forum, yesterday i went for CNG tuning, the mechanic said that one of the cylinder is not working, he pulled the plug when the vehicle is started and observed that vehicle is still running, he pulled another one then vehicle stalled.

i don't know why is this happening to me. but i have spend 43,000 on overhaul in 6 months period. and still performance is not good as it should be.

why one cylinder is not working, and is this technic can be verified or correct.

D. Do you feel any decrease in pick up?

new radiator costs 8000+ in rawalpindi market. good mechanics are Moon 0300-5312903 (cricket stadiam) rawalpindi, Mian Khan Rawalpindi, Tahir G-8 Islamabad

Rs. 2200/- is an old story, now they ask Rs.3000/- fix :'(. Few months ago I purchased very good condition used stock rims in Rs. 1500/-. local plastic wheelcups are in range of Rs. 400/-

c=on petrol pick is also not good
d=yes, there is no pick
e=oil is getting darker and reducing also, but spark plugs are clear

backfire pipe is producing more air then normal, and some oil is also seen on air cleaner where pipe ends.

Keeping in view the above stated symptoms, I recommend to perform the compression test. There might be some issue with the head/ valve leakage.

2. Daewoo have greater engine noise in cabin than other counterparts due to resonator-less setup. Still if you feel that the noise is too much, do as following:

a. Get your car checked for the presence of insulator foam beneath driver and passenger floor.

b. Get the firewall insulation checked for any open holes.

c. Ask the mechanic to verify that the engine foundations are intact, and are not the cheap ones in terms of quality.

also new and kabli Sanden compressor rate.
i have old sanden compressor but one piston is damage so any good machine which can repair old compressor in pindi or islamabad.
