Its Very Nice Car..
It Depends upon U That U Had Maintains It..
It Just Need Good Maintanance And Attention..If U Respect This Car It Will Respect U..:)..
its fuel Average is lot better than pther cars..
and about the cost it depends upon the condition and working of the car..
the average daewoo will cost aound 1.5-2lakhs and if u go for a gd one than it will be around 2.5..
but ill say just one thing for daewoo..

wat abt maintanance cost ? i have driven 1c it was a nice experince. im not concern abt its drive/comfort, as i know abt it , my concern is abt its maintanance cost.. and a bit concern abt resale.. not like suzuki i know.. but do ppl buy daewoo or 1c u buy it u have to keep it ?

Feul average City 9-10km/L with normal driving habits and top speeds of 60km/hr

Highway 14-15km/L with top speeds of 110km/hr constant varies by 1-2km/l with increase of speed

AC doesnt make much difference, only difference occurs when a/c is on and vehicle is stand still like on long timed signals

Average cost of daewoo excellently maintained is Rs.400,000/- to 325,000/-
Vehicle(in running condition) Rs.250,000/- to Rs.125,000/-

Went thru the topic and found it interesting... im currently considering buying myself a daewoo and luckily found one. I need expert advices as to do on with the deal or not!

The car that ive found is a Daewoo GTi (as the owner claims) with metallic blue in color, p/w, p/s, a/c. demanding 2,75,000

i also have daewoo racer... in good condition.. in i love this car but i have few problem with it. kindly advice what i do:

1. brakes problem( every two month i have change brake pads)
2. Paint dont stick on bumpers plz adices..
3. which AC compressor shd i buy?
4. its ball joints need to replaced after every 6 months
5. What should i do to increase its accelerations?

@leodelion.Bro The Problems Which U Have Asked Are The Main Prob With Every Daewoo..The Brake Prob Is The Main Cause of Its Non-Resale..u Can Have Nissans Brake Kit On It Than It Will Give A Lot better Result..
And As Far As Bumpers Paint is Concerned Bhai They Are Made Of WAX Plastic So The Paint Doesnt Stick On It For Long Time..
And For A\C Comp Go For Its Orignal Compressor Its a Lot Better Opiton Baki U Can Also Ask The Masters Of Daewoo On This Form..

There are a lot of vehicles converted to GTI shape. Check documents of vehicle where the model with its class type will be mentioned. whereas the price is excellent if vehicle is properly maintained. verify by good mechanic

For acceleration:
re-tune your vehicle. change air filter if clogged. change any malfunctioning plugs and check for naked wires,if so tape them properly. Change Spark plugs to Denso Iridium designed for corolla or any better platinum plugs.
remember non geniune parts make the vehicle performance worser thus if you use them dont expect performance.

for ball joints problem:
replace complete front suspension if one part is weak or if using alloys change back to standard rims as alloys may be causing excessive vibration.
