recently filled with 17 liters and fuel gauge goes up little to the red line, i think it should go 1/4 of the white line

ive check sender unit it has 3 wires, red white and black

how can i test fuel gauge and wirings are ok?, ive read that shorting one wire will make the needle to full which will determine if gauge and wiring are good but i dont know which wire:( cause may damage may gauge

just wanna check first wiring and gauge if they are good dont want to access the float yet little afraid of handling gasolines:S(A):S(A)

have computer scan for daewoo , actualy i,m planning a trip to Lahore n

wana treatment of my woo, please also give me detail contact of A/C

My car has beautiful metallic maroon paint. But now its putene has started breaking from many places.
Really worried wat to do.

If the paint has started peeling off, sooner or later the complete paint will eventually peel off. It is actually the ground of the paint that has expired. Take your car to painter for better analysis of the situation. IMO a repaint is due.

Suzuki Margalla/Cultus side mirrors perfectly fits on Daewoo Racer. You can get even Japanese power side mirrors from the same cars.

The black one is earth, white one is low fuel switch and red one is the signal wire. That's the red wire when connected to the black wire/chassis, the needle should go all the way up. BTW did you fill 17 Litres to an empty tank? I think the fuel gauges are not linear due to shape of the tanks, you should entirely fill the tank to check if the gauge is faulty or not.

yesterday i have tuned my car from Suleman Shah gee, installed new "Champion" plugs recommended by Shah gee, previously NGK were installed, after tuning car's mileage has improved significantly!!

there is some problem with my steering, at the speed of 80 or more the steering becomes stiff in the middle but if I turn the car a bit right or left it becomes smooth again, i mean i feel that there is some thing hindering or jamming the steering in the middle, i told the mechanic but he says that there is no such issue

Champion is also good, but if you have correctly gapped any plug, you can get optimum performance provided you have selected appropriate heat range.

As far as the steering problem you have mentioned, get your car checked by alignment guy. This situation can occur with bad camber.

Did you check for alignment/camber problem?

I need a suggestion regarding installation of thermostat volve in Daewoo and its performance. I get it installed from Tahir couple of days ago. During local travel it went well, temperature needle remained at white area but on Friday i went to Muree and gives little heatup issue.
Although It remained below half point, but you know that at half there are bright chances of head gaskit blown up.
Whats your suggestion, should i continue to with thermostat volve to get heater benefit and optimum fuel performance or get it removed to avoid any expected head gaskit issue .

If the thermostat valve is working and the engine cooling system (including Coolant Sensor, efficient radiator and good circulation) is fine, there are rare chances of heat ups.

Brother, its about two years back when i scanned my woo sensors thru scanner from the Korea autos near DHA. At that time they had the scanner with them. Owner, Mr Saeed, is brother/relative of the famous spare part shop Korea auto at Montgomery road.
Number of Mr saeed is 0334-6374242, 042-5809911.
spare pats are also available with them upto some extent. it was my just one time visit with him.

There is also another option to check the working status of the car sensors i.e, manual (by shorting pins A and B of the computer/ECU). Lets suppose if scanner isnt available now with Korea workshop,you may check your woo scanners thru manal method by Murtaza Mchanic at nishat colony near DHA.

According to my experience, two mechanics are good Zafar and Murtaza.
Zafar at Chuburji 0321-4243336, daerwoo parts are also availble there at Bajwa autos.
Murtaza at Nishat colony 0300-4130556, if you visit murtaza then for spare parts you have to travel all the way to montgomery road:o.

Murtaza has good diagnostic skills. I have good experience with both of them, other may have different.....

Now you take the decision.

Following mirrors can be fixed thereon:
1. Kabli mirrors of toyota Corona (with large triangle), good option
2. Corolla (indus modle), better option.
3. Cultus, not good.

If "A/C expert" means AC expert, then no better option than Murtaza at Lahore. I had to face much difficulty to slove AC problem of my woo and visited many technitions, but ultimately it was resolved by Murtaza.

thanks for guidence. Thersomtat volve is working fine and currently the heat gauge remain within white area but during my recent trip to murree, it given little heatup issue. Although the heat needle remained below half but heating smell frequently start coming with heater air. after 20 minutes rest, work well again.

In summer, without thermostat volve, with direct fan (hight speed with relay) with AC on, runs fine on highway, but in congested trafic with AC having 3-4 persons again gives heatup issue.

Apparently Cooling system is fine, yesterday I discussed with Tahir, he said that it may required radiator replacement because of suspected inner blockages.

What you say, whould i opt for radiator replacement or continue with little heatup issues in congested trafic with peak summer.

Apprantly all suspicion goes to Radiator, i faced the same issue around two years back and it was resolved with replacement of kabli radiator. if affordable, u may go for new one.
