I need your advice testdriver.
For the last one and a half month, my woo has been giving me so electrical problems that offcourse effect the car efficiency. Below are the details of the problems and i apologize for the long text in advance cause i want to explain each point. A bit fed up on the money i spent and still the issue is there.
Ok about 1.5 months ago when i run my car with A/C on i saw that the RPM meter needle fluctuated on brake and especially more on indicators or any other load of power (deck, if on) and the car would not run ok ... it will jerk with the load and on petrol it was terrible as it put extra load of fuel pump (BTW without A/C the problem still there but car running 80% fine only on indicators and breaks together the car would give jerks). I removed all the negative connectors of the body and battery, cleaned them throughly and the put them back which did effect it but only just about 5% so i checked every wiring that i can see or reach (Blower, AC, Fuse Box, CNG, Sensor wires etc) and check joints if they were ok or not lose, every thing like deck wiring and meter wiring but alas everything seemed ok then I got the generator checked and it was declared ok but still i got it serviced with the self also, i got the battery checked and it turned out depleted so i replaced my battery with a AGS 12V 85 Amp battery. That did also made the problem go away almost 40% but still fluctuation. I went to Khalid as he got Scanner so i got it checked and there was some thing that made me think what the hell!!!..... on idle without headlights, AC etc, only just he car started, the voltage from the generator on scanner was between 12.2-12.6. When i turned on my A/C it went to 11.5-11.8 and when i turned my blower to full it went to 10.8 - 11.2. Then if i push the brake pedal down then it went to 10.5-10.7. So we found the problem that the power was not fully provided and Khalid said that it should in idle be at near 13.5v. So a few days later my generator bearing gave way and the generator got a bit burned with belt melted so i kept the original generator with me as i know it was working fine and replaced with a Ceilo generator in great condition which was a 90A generator (Old was a 70A one.). Ok now the issue of missing or jerking was almost 90% solved but still issue with the power being lost somewhere. But surely i was on the quest of diagnosing it on my own. I mended and fixed everything that i thought is causing the electrical issue. Now the voltage is still in the range area that i checked with a scanner and was trying to find the issue and a new problem came that on petrol when i turned my ignition on in the morning the car would start quickly with half self. But after that when i turned my ignition switch off the car would be in a state where it would try to keep being in started position or like when the rpm drops to 300-500 means it would not shut off and give really hard jerks to stay in start mode and this in only in petrol mode. CNG is fine. And also the rpm would be ok one minute and then when i would shut the engine off and then start it back on ... it would start in such a long self and i could smell petrol being overflowed but dont know what is happening. Checked everything ... Khalid checked and said that you need to give me one full day so he can check the whole wiring ... which i am trying to avoid due to reasons like it costs a bit so trying to save it and importantly ... i know that there is a very small issue of wiring which if diagnosed can save me a lot of money and set the thing right. But by the looks of khalid he was confused on this also. Also on petrol sometimes when i break or depress the clutch to shift the car will just shut off or mostly the RPM will come to 400-500 and then either will turn off or readjust itself and this is on both A/C and without A/C ... i have purchased and put the original VSS sensor that got burned due to Khalid's wrong wire connection for trying to be a smart ***. :(.
Please guide me on this as its turning out to ruin my most weekends as i am spending time with car then family and i have night job so important for me to keep the car in good condition atleast mechanically so it does not give problem atleast at night.
Really eagerly waiting for reply .... Everyone here i request if you had this problem please advice the solutions.
On the bright sight .... Car consumption is awesome.
Installed 5 forward gear 3 months ago. After that went to long route also (Faisalabad). The consumption is the only thing that i like about this car and its a very affordable car in this range. I had previously kept Daewoo for 7 years till 2010 and the purchased this in jan 2012. so know a bit about it. :).
Consumption on Gas: (60KG Cylinder):
Without A/C Local : 170Km - Max i remember is (195km) - (Depends on CNG station pressure offcourse but average is 175km.)
With A/C Local: 135km - 150km.
50% With A/C and 50% Without A/C Long: 275Km - Loved it!!!! (Sorry only checked it in that long trip with half and half with A/C)
So my guess is it would average between 250Km - 300Km. Will let you know if go on more long route.
Consumption on Petrol: Well i havent really checked it as now a days low on cash so havent had a chance to full the tank 2 times and see but my guess that i noticed was on Rs.1000 (Petrol price was at 87 Rs.) it gave me about 110km 80% with A/C and 20% without A/C.
