I took my ride to central automobiles, they did satisfactory work but I am still worried about one Bigg Issue, my car is still giving me around 50kms on 200rs cng. Please help me and suggest what could the problem be, I have tried getting the kit adjusted many time but still the same result.

my daewoo gives about 80-90km for Rs.325-350 so i guess 50km is ok for Rs.200, if anyone have better milage, guide us.

My daewoo does 58km in Rs 150 (without AC) and with AC it doesn't go beyond 3Rs/km. I guess you should get it checked/tuned from a good cng tuner. For people in rwp/isb, Rehman autos (Asim) on peshawar road (in between chor chakki and bohr masjid) is really good. Get your plugs checked as well. It might take you a couple of trips to that cng tuner to achieve a desirable mileage.

lagta hay ke ziyada daewoo racer rawalpindi/islamabad main chal rahi hain.

aisa to nahin yaar karachi is a big city and here are too many daewoo racers available and running on the road.

Daewoo plus behind fire brigade, Islamabad are good mechanics as it is run by Mr.Iqbal, old employee of Federal autos who opened this shop in 1998 after having issues with owner of federal autos,Mr.Bhatti(Late) at that time. His mechanics are good at work but they all including owner will try to rip you off and they handle the your vehicle not caring if it can be damaged or scratched via there ill manner treatment.
FEDERAL AUTOS I-10, islamabad has good/excellent mechanics but they will also rip you off if you are not on guard after there new incharge has taken over from past 4 years. Getting parts there has no issues as they have all parts including genuine/non-genuine available there. Wajid there is a good mechanic and very experienced but you should know how to tackle him. I am going to FEDERAL AUTOS since 1995 and i have no issue of satisfaction providing i supervise closely when repair/service is being carried out.

Methods to verify clutch plate Problem : 1. Accelerate your vehicle suddenly and if you feel noise of engine higher i.e engine sound as if no gear has been engaged and acceleration very slow then this confirms issue. 2. while standing still partially release clutch while vehicle in first gear and note engine vibration during the release, if extensive then problem confirmed. 3. If vehicle is loaded with passengers and luggage and being accelerated. same problem as 1 occurs then problem confirmed.
Verifying engine Problem: Check if your engine drops oil level more than quarter of full mark in one week, engine issue confirmed 2. Blue/Blackish smoke in morning which reduces with engine warming(minor 1 cause will be accompanied by this issue) , engine issue confirmed.

Also check timing belt if properly tight. Check generator belts(use only corrugated one). Check A/C belt(use non corrugated one).

Get your vehicle checked by scanner for issues regarding sensor`s for pick/acceleration

Usually issue of acceleration if not related to engine/clutch/distributor then it is related to feul/CNG settings or wiring issues. If that is alright then get your Feul Pump checked or Map sensor checked

Somebody took off my driver side rear view mirror...

new is not available... kabli one with Jamroz asking Rs1200

im thinking of replacing them with one from margalla.. any suggestions?

I saw a daewoo (@federal motors) with margalla's rear mirrors installed and they looked fine. The owner has been using them for a long time.

i have gone through your mentioned process and found that the problem is with clutch plate. and during tuning process found that one of the plug is also not working,
mechanic changed the plug but the still persist.
LPG consumption is also high now a days.

Guys I have one more issue, the AC of my daewoo stops cooling when the car is at a halt. Is it normal for daewoo AC, is there any workaround?

Best replacement is SUZUKI margalla side mirrors but other one is TOYOTA Corona 1992 model side view mirrors which i am using without any issue. Other mirrors fit daewoo but slight noise will be heard when driving thru bumps or uneven roads.

Clutch plays important role in providing economical consumption thus change the complete set clutch, clutch plate, clutch bearing for better performance as more acceleration is required to reach a specific speed

Dear All

I am using Daewoo since January 2005. I love to have it after using it. Some plus & minuses are always with cars of any made. Now i want to convert it into CIELO other than Engine. I have seen converted Racer into CIelo looks very good. i saw at Daewoo Workshop back side of Urdu University Islamabad. I tuned my car from there they are very good and experts of daewoo. 90% work is for daewoo. atleast i am satisfied from their work. i just need guidance from you people about conversion of Racer into Cielo. Please Guide my. here people were discussing about consumption and here i explain my experince. i have 55 CNG cylinder and filled it and drive it on motorway. in 55 cylinder my car did 181KM on motorway. i think its good for 1500CC car.

Best choice in standard spak plugs is Champion ones(Original Daewoo plugs)
If youy want to upgrade to iridium(provides better milege and pick) then change Spark plugs to Denso Iridium ik20gr or NGK iridium plugs dont remember exact code but they are available at Sheikh traders F-10 Islamabad
Rather than these brands users in market have minor complains

Change of engine(swap) is good idea if you have major issues with your original engine as original engine is used and maintained in pakistan whereas nobody knows that how mauch the kabli engine is used and under what circumstances or conditions

Found the problem, turns out that the A/C only turned on when the car reached a specific rpm, only a minor adjustment required to the A/C clutch. Working perfectly now :).

I am also planning to change the side mirrors of my car, is margalla the best option? Where can I get it from in rawalpindi and how much?

Install relay for A/c Clutch as due to variation of current with rpm variation the clutch gets damaged which sometimes leads to it being jammed which then damages the compressor resulting in extra cost of a/c compressor replacement.
As for the mirror replacement goto SULTAN KA KOOH Rawalpindi and buy second hand margalla mirrors
