So you are hopefully going to get back your racer converted to cielo today. Do post pics (pre/post conversion) and the cost.

There is delay of One Day. Inshallah i will get by tomorrow. ll post pics. even wiring of racer replaced by Cielo. i mean other than engine everything is of CIELO. I will show you my car ll meet some day if possible.

Havent had experience recently but replaced mine 2 years back for around Rs.3600/-(Both)

I will recommend new ones as they are reliable and work for longer duration and repaired ones have no reliability and gets worn out within 6 months of repair

Hello bro how are u and EID Mubarak. New goodas were repaired by myself from daewoo plus they had two types one is of Rs.2600 and second is of Rs 3600 plus 300 labour. done this a year back and did not face any problem after that. you may check number is 2202515 of daewoo plus

Why don't you go for kabli ones. You can get them from Saddar Rawalpindi from Mithoo Ahatta. There is a guy there named Khair Muhammad. He deals in kabli parts of Daewoo and Hyundai Excel.

I replaced my entire front suspension from him including both godas. They are working perfectly fine for the last three months. He will demand Rs. 3000 for both but after negotiation he will give it to you for around Rs. 2400. The Japanese goda is available for Rs.1800 but you will have to pay for the labour of fitting them on the axle plus will have to pay for boots which will most likely not be of very good quality.

Instead just go for the kabli ones and as a matter of surety, open up the boots and check the grease. If it is enough then don't go for re-greasing them as the original grease is better than that in the market.

I'am a proud owner of daewoo racer since 2005. bought it almost new: only 12,000/- km done

Luckily I found this page and see some indept solution and views on all aspects.

Problem is I live in karachi and very few replies from karachi.

I have the following 3 problems which I need to resolve urgently:

1) SUSPENSION ISSUE

The ball joints / bushes are in a VERY bad shape and i need to have them replaced immediately.

To date I haven't met a satisfactory suspension mechanic and my previous experiences on other cars have been very bad. I love my daewoo and donot want to experiment with it.

Please advice:

 1- Where can I get ORIGINAL suspension parts from
 2- Where should I go for replacement
 3- How much will it cost?

2) BREAK ISSUE

I am fed up of the heat up and continuous replacement of break pads after 3 months.

Please advice:

 1- Where is the best place to get them replaced
 2- How much will it cost?

2) AC ISSUE

I had an excellent cooling unit in my car with original compressor.

The compressor's bearing somehow got thrashed and I had to replace it with SANDEN 108 compressor.

Since then the cooling has gone down considerable and the car is taking a lot of load.

Had it replaced from QUICK COOL on tariq road spent Rs17,000/-

Please advice:

 1- What should I do to increase the cooling?
 2- What should I do to reduce the compressor load as a new one should ideally have been lighter than the old one?
 2- Can I get an ORIGINAL brand new daewoo compressor and for how much?

REALLY WORRIED NOWADAYS AS IT IS MY EVERYDAY USAGE CAR................

PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!
