So... after roughly 3-4yrs we've decided to sell our woo. Served us well throughout, its the only car that we kept the longest
I'll post the ad here on PW in a day or two.

To the people of this thread, car is in very good condition as it is a daily runner so maintenance has always been timely done and is totally on petrol now. I still have the CNG kit and the cylinder so if anyone wants I'll give it with the car. PM me if you have any queries.

this is my daewoo 1996...i hav bought it 6 months ago......plz give some coments....its has no orignal rims on it.....it has 14 size rim of some corolla x....does it has any effect on it.....bec its orignal rims are of size 13.......how r its orgnal rims......

Welcome to the forum! Your car is looking nice. I can see another Daewoo Racer is background, do you have two of them?

Although the Daewoo Racer's original rims were 13 that came to Pakistan, but internationally it came in both 13s and 14s. So 14s are also safe to be used, no negative effects!

Dear TestDriver u were right. Daewoo has separate set up for both Cooling/Heating. I have re-activated both the options from Junaid @ Chah Sultan. I think for major works the Chah Sultan is best option because all spares are available there at very low prices as compare to other markets in RWP/ISB.

yar i hav only one of them.....i also want to know.....daewoo has automatic fan system....or it runs all the time.....those we use thermosat valve or not.....it gets lot of heat without the valve......rather differnet than other cars

Off-course Daewoo has automatic fan system controlled by the ECM (computer). There is an option of installing a thermostat switch (not the thermostat valve) in the radiator, but not really required if everything else is fine (sensors, ECM, wiring).

Regarding thermostat valve, it should be kept installed because it helps the engine attain and maintain optimum temperature. Mechanics usually remove the valve, which can cause permanent damage to the engine components in the long run!

First of all 023 is a part of GM part number '90234971' and it has nothing to do with the timing! Yes you can consider the center of Daewoo monogram placed above the GM code as a 'ZERO' mark. For CNG just rotate the distributor clockwise up to 5 degrees(~3.0mm) from the 'ZERO' mark.

On CNG, it is around 17 Km/Kg within city while on petrol it gives around 11Km/L. Fuel consumption is mainly dependent on engine condition and tuneup + Traffic conditions.

thanku test driver for your information.....i did'nt know that before......you r realy informative........kindly tell me where i hav to adjust the distributer when i have to run on petrol.....as current situation of cng....i mostly hav to drive on petrol....now a days i hav 7 km/l milege in cily on petrol and 10 km/l on highway.......it also has black smoke on sylencer.....and also tell me about the rubber bush fitted on the end of the air filter.....some peole say we hav to remove it for extra air....to run on petrol....and re install it on cng......i am very disturb now a days on petrol consumption.....kindly guide me
