Dear Friends
Will be grarefull if some body guide me which engine is best for swapping in Daewoo Racer.or should i continue with Its original one.As most people say it is better to swap engine as there are very few mechanic who can manage Daewoo Original Engine.Secondly pls guide which car should i buy Corolla 86 or Daewoo Racer 93.I will be really thankful

If you are going to buy daewoo then buy one with best condition engine nd interior vise . It is costly to arrange things after purchase. You better pay once for good car otherwise you will regret it. Market is full of woos ranging from 80k to 350k. A well kept will be above 220k.
As for engine, its stock engine is best and very simply even you can repair everything by yourself if you have technical know how. Buy this car if your city has spareparts . Like in twin citiies,Lahore, karachi parts are easily available. We have a whole thread here search dfc ( daewoo fan club) on pakwheels.

I dont know why mechanics cannot fix it. I have this car nd believe me removing engine is much easy than mehran. Plenty of space in bay to work. Very easy to put every thing back. Very simple engine design . No tappets to adust. just put every thing back. No point ignition system like mehran. Very easy to align timing.... But again dont buy a car which need major work . Any engine can be swapped in this car due to big engine bay . People have altered it with diesel ,Vitz automatic and xli.....
