use good mobil oil for it. and do any job which is ahead, never gather them to be done atonce.

Beeberg. Really appreciate yur response. I have noted many people still admire Daihatsu Charada Diesel and prefer to buy instead of new tin pack cars due to Charades durability. And people are still maintaining Diesel engine Charades.

any howsome usefull tips in order to avoid certain problems

• Heat Guage should be in perfect condition in every weather.
• Use Delo Gold
• make this habit, change oil filter with every oil change
• immediately Clean/Change Airfilter when needed
• immediately change fuel filter when needed
• Injection nozzles should be in good condition. get them serviced and pressurised
• heaters should be of 3 second timing and alwats remain in good condition
• water body and rediator should remain in good and clean condition always in order to avoid overheating of Head. always try to use Coolent
• Timing belt should be observed carefully and make sure to use good brand
• keep watching the engine seals. specially the tappet cover sel, cam seals, and oil reservoir seal.
• mostly charades got over burdened due to the leakage of engine oil
• Oil Feed to turbo should work properly. mostly it is seen that our Ustaad Jees get it closed
• Timing should be properly set (not so advanced, not so retarded)
• use bigger radiator with bigger direct fan so to avoid overheating.

well in my point of view there are few things after observing we can avoid certain problems in engine. well certain time period is involved in the wear tear of every item so u have to be carefull. keep on daily checking by yourself so if u notice anyting wrong. get it done before it get worse.

@agha300. i have 84 non turbo charade. my problem is as precisely as u mentioned

how do i solve this. its leaking from all nuts and bolts. the engine doesnt overheat, radioator is coolant full and good running. no probs otherwise aside from oil leaking. even the oil cap leaks. i tried looking for seals for the nuts and bolts but couldnt....mechanics say u cant find bolts seal for charade in Rawalpindi. u got any ideas as to what can be done.....i will try & post a few pictures.

GTTX, I m new in ISB, but my cousin also have Charade, and he got engine overhauled, I will consult him and let u know where u can find bolts in ISB or Pindi.

bro there is a air line from tappet cover to filter that is block thats why oil is coming from every where
