Daihatsu Charade Engine Swap

Hope u all doing well. I have 1991 model charade kissa model and for last 2.5 years m using it with turbo diesel engine. Few months back turbo was creating issues so i disconnected it and also changed exhaust manifold. Now my car gives no pleasure while driving… Cars pickup and top speed came to end level and when i switch on a.c results are more disappointing.
Now i come to the point. I want a healthy reliable petrol engine whether a carby one or efi for my car. Priority would b 16 valve 1300cc having 4 cylinders. Need serious suggestion because i want to keep my car in genuine setups and dont want to swap 4EFE or 1NZ or any other setup that may require alterations…

If you don't want to swap then sort out the original engine. How can you expect it to perform without a turbo?

You are right brother bt from where i can have its original petrol engine? Bcoz here in lahore at bilal gunj there is not a single pure qabuli engine available. All they have is civil ones locally used that have done with their lives

You should buy a locally used one and rebuild it properly.
