DAIHATSU CHARADE GTXX or GTTI

Whats the difference? And is it a wise idea to buy one or not? Will not a daily car tough. And if anyones selling please send some pics or post it on the website.

i am sure you have seen pics of mrhot's selling GTxx here, diffirence is basically its a newer model of GTti, and some minor improvement changes too. if interested, we can drop by yr place sometimes in that car. i knew of a GTti white color, but that car is sold long time back now.

well differances i know of

1. turbo is differant gtti turbo is only oil cooled gtxx is oil and water cooled
2. gtxx is 4 wheel discs
3. gtxx is fully powered
4. gtxx has an upgraded lsd gear box.
5. gtxx has fully forged pistons and sleeves

there is one silver/red gtti for sale..sunroof,15s everything.. car is in isb..320K is the price....

1. turbo is differant gtti turbo is only oil cooled gtxx is oil and water cooled (Yes!! impeller of GTxx is a big larger in diameter as compared to GTti's impeller)
2. gtxx is 4 wheel discs (Both have 4 wheel Discs nothing special about xx)
3. gtxx is fully powered (GTti also came with Powered editions also with powered suroofs once again nothing special about xx)
4. gtxx has an upgraded lsd gear box.(no GTtti or GTxx came with a LSD from factory although lsds are avaliable for around 350 pounds can be fitted in GTti+GTxx)
5. gtxx has fully forged pistons and sleeves (NO!! neither GTxx nor GTti has fully forged internals both are semi or partially forged)

apart from these GTxx flywheel is lighter in weight as compared to GTti. GTxx interior is grey in color while gtti was blue and far more beautiful.

temp controlled AC option came with GTxx.

there is a 4wd version of charade too that car came with a 1.3efi engine named as HD. though 4wd never came in GT verion. there were two engine codes one was CB70 other was CB80.

Bhai Jaldi se lo na charade and drive it lahore and lets have some 4wd fun acha and make sure if you are paying extra money for a good engine you get a good engine. and if you go for an engine swap go for a 4efte instead of a silvertop or a blacktop as they are to heavy and will un balance the car.
