Daihatsu cuore almost no oil on oil change

hi i have a daihatsu cuore 2006 and it runs amazing its fast perfect milage and everything i mean essentially there is nothing wrong with it by the looks of it. but recently i changed its oil and well no oil came ot of the engine after that i asked my machanic he said it runs fine and everything like it runs on 120 with ease so i asked to check again and later it started giving white smoke. so can anyone guide me why there is no oil at all even if we have bad piston rings there should be about liter of oil left in it.

what do you mean by that, it wasn't giving smoke, but after mechanic checked it started giving white smoke ?

no i was there when he checked it was nothing he took it on a drive check its spark plugs saying engine is fine. then after 10 days i got oil change i got no oil and basically engine was give white smoke so now i think rings have gone bad cause way too much oil consumption

yes, you are right, after you changed the oil, the problem (which was already there) started appearing .. sadly, you have to get the rings, pistons, gasket, etc checked now : (

if you've recently bought the car, sometimes what sellers do is they put very thick oil or STP with oil, it makes the oil so thick that the engine does not produce any sound or smoke, etc., but whenever you go and change it to regular oil, all the problems that the engine has start appearing : (
