AOA guys,

i need your help urgently. i bought few weeks ago Daihatsu Esse 2007 Japanese car. i read on several pages on the webs and from many people about its performance and fuel efficiency. but unfortunately she is giving me 10 km/L with Ac in the city and 15 KM/L with Ac on the long route with driver only. Guys i have changed its sparks plugs, sprayed carbon washer in his throttle body, changed its engine oil , air filter, oil filter.
kindly guide me in this regard, i will be very thank full to you. and one thing more what is the efi tuning. i mean does tappet setting include in efi tuning or not because i am very confused in efi tuning. please help JAZAK ALLAH.

I bought an Esse recently and its fuel efficiency has improved from 10 km/l to 13 km/l in city while on my recent trip on long route it gave me an avg of 22 km/l.

Hope yours has improved its performance by now.

What transmission you have? did to cleaned fuel filter?

Try with another petrol pump, make sure u fuel from the pump which gives finest petrol and full in quantity else all ur readings will remain messed up forever.

If its auto, change ATF too and keep proper air pressure in tires.

Ur esse has 3 speed gear box due to which it doing less mileage. ...

which engine oil you are using.

i have a 2010 esse too. gives around 12-13KM/L in city.

its a sweet ride MA.

Recently bought an Esse 2007 and has issue of coolant bubbling out from the radiator and car is also giving white smoke....pl guide who can tune this vehicle and can i get some parts of engine eg rings and head gasket etc for the recovery of the vehicle.

I have daihatsu esse 2007 with 3 speed transmission. Its fuel consumption is 11km/l on AC within city. I am using zic ATF transmission oil and zic A engine oil. Using denso spark plugs, and change oil filter and air filter time to time. What can I do more??

get its throttle body cleaned. use fuel system cleaner. do alignment balancing. milage will improve once you have done all that and reset the ecu.

Salam, check it's fuel filter and make sure the petrol u use is goodly purified, try high octane fuel

Salam I have 660cc daihatsu esse car, I face the problem of reducing engine oil, when I change the engine oil after 1000 km it reduces its level, I try different engines oil but no effect, kindly I need your suggestions

its ok. use total 9000 5w-30 api sn fully synthetic oil.

some reduction of oil after 1000 km usage is normal and as per design so no issues.
