Are you sure your device works? There are a lot of replica devices available in the market which either don't work at all, or don't work with all cars. Plus, I am not sure about the engine code of Esse, but some Toyota cars use older protocols which are often not identified depending on your device. Normally, Torque app will do the job, but sometimes it doesn't, again depending on your device. A safe bet will be to get Toyota Techstream with a MVCI cable. You can get cheap knock-offs of the same from the market.
