Daihatsu Mira 2011 Base Grade D blinking & Irregular Shifting on Cold Start

My Daihatsu Mira 2011 base grade (Auto) has a blinking "D" every morning on cold start after driving 2-3 minutes.

The car stops shifting gears and RPM revs up, after driving 3-4 minutes the problem is resolved automatically.

I have change the CVT AT Fluid as well,

I have tried taking the car to mechanic but once the car warms up it behaves pretty well and gives no sign of fault. one mechanic said it could be a sensor problem but he said I will have to check every sensor so leave the car for few days with me.

Whatever error there is will be recorded in the ecu. Scan tool will be able to read it as history code as long as you are not disconnecting the battery.

2011 Mira if the chassis code is DBA or HBD L275XX / L285xx the vehicle is equipped with a CVT auto transmission. Cross check if the correct CVT fluid grade is used by mechanic.

If your workshop does not have a scanner visit somebody who have tools to handle modern day vehicles.
