Daihatsu Mira - ABS light - sensor problem

Hi i recently bought a Daihatsu Mira 2010 model and replaced the hub because the right tyre bearing was giving issues. Now the ABS light comes on sometimes and will stay for hours, and then will turn off itself whenever it feels like it. What do you think it is? The ABS should be fine. Is it a sensor problem? Already refreshed the software but its still happening. Help?

Also know anyone who specializes in fixing Mira in islamabad/pindi?

hub is local yard item from a local car where as the JDM cars have different mounting for ABS sensor with the disc clipper. verify it by physical dimensions it is a sensor position problem nothing more.

get a proper scanner on the car to see what is the actual code being generated by the ABS system.

if your mechanic used something like emery paper to clean the sensor face he might have magnetized it. One should only use a nylon brush to clean the sensor face.

Simiarly if the tone wheel is dirty and was "shined up" with emery it can also generate problems.

I think that ur sensor is just malfunctioning.
Before. Check the code please check the continuity and resistance of sensor an check for any loser connection.

guys i have Daihatsu Sonica 2007 and its ABS light was on but some electrician has inter-connected it with Check light...which means check-light ghayeb hoti ABS be ghayeb ho jati hai...after getting it scanned code was front wheels sensors not responding, dono sensors be change kar diye same issues...also ABS frontwheel solenoid is not working either, all i wanna know what do i have to do? Youtube pe ABS module repairs ki kafi videos hain...Sumitomo is the manufacturer of the ABS probably sab Daihatsus main yehi ata hai...can it be repaired? also D ki light blink karti rehti like R main be ho tou it comes up like R D R D R D i recently changed the whole engine, including the wiring and ECU us se pehle be yehi issue tha mechanic told me gear main masla hai now everything has been changed same woi masla....any help? ab toui handbrake ki light be display nai ho rai...

Hey its horrible story.. well any ways what was the outcomes and the solution of your problem. I am experince same issue with my mira 2012. And today I had service my car brakes, sensors, and all. But no good luck so far. Pls suggest mechanic is suggesting for bearibg change. But he is not confident that issue will be resolved.
