I've painstakingly compiled all of this information, and I'd like to share it with you, but please don't copy information without giving due credit, or a link to this thread. Thank you.
Ever since I've purchased my Mira e : S (2012, DBA-LA300S-GBPF, ~30,000km on clock), I've been scouring the internet and calling Daihatsu Service Centers in Japan for information that would help me understand my car better.
I translated the Quick Start Guide from Japanese, and since I haven't been able to find a manual for the car through both official channels and the internet, I thought I'd compile a knowledgebase that I could refer to for information on my car, when I need it ? helping the community out in the process.
Feel free to contribute any information you find, or share your experience regarding the cars, to help make someone else's life easier. I'll update this thread accordingly.
I'll link facts that end up here to the author of the post highlighting that information.

## --- ECO-IDLE MECHANISM INFORMATION --- ##
[in progress]
UPDATE 2016-10-06: I've just found out a potential reason for my eco-idle not working. There's a very specific battery type made for "idling stop" cars that is required by my Mira. My Hankook isn't going to cut it. More testing required.
