Hello Mira owners, Im planning to buy one and looking for one too, If you know any reliable dealers please let me know. And whats with this D3 and D4 ? CVT and NON CVT? How can i differentiate between it?

What are the other things to look for?

D3 means your car can shift upto 3rd gear only, no 4th gear shifting.
D4 or D your car can shift upto 4th gear or the top gear.

CVT(Continuous Variable Transmission), no concept of gear shifting, just changing the ratio.

i got that by seeing some cars,

D3 come in the L package (black side mirrors and unpowered side mirrors)
D4 comes with X package (loaded car)
CVT comes with XL and Mira custom (dash board gear and a meter with (prndsb).

So Mira owners are actualy happy with your car?

MIRA Auto trans gives 9 to 10 km/l in city and 14 km/l on highway,, Mira manual transmission gives 15 km/l within city and more than 22 km/l on highway like motorway
so ppl who own auto mira dont waste ur money on throttle body cleaning, spark plugs, fuel pump or filter and many tricks like tht...

I am finding my car hard on some pot holes and broken roads.. Has anyone tried changing the shocks and other suspension stuff? I want to change the front shocks as something is not right as I hear a very bad sound when my car meets a GARHAA or broken patch... Can someone quote me the prices and the right place to do the suspension work?

I just bought a 2009 Mira but it is giving a poor milegae of 11 kms/ltr only
I got the oil changed but not the spark plugs.
Any suggestions on how to improve the mileage because the reason I bought this car was primarily of good milage as I had heard that it gives around 14-16

Charade coil springs can easily be fitted in Mira L250 chassis as I ve installed them in my rear end. Don't know about Alto's....

Is your car 4wd? (If ur car chassis no starts with DBA-L285S then its a 4wd but if it starts with DBA-L275S then it is front wheel drive car) because this is really a poor mileage and u should get near 14 kms at least. I hope you are not pushing ur gas pedal too much? Check your tyre pressure as reduced tyre pressure can also lead to poor milleage. Moreover have you checked your air filter? Isn't it clogged? do some basic tunnings and show it to some good mechanic who knows these cars well other wise you will end up with nothing and losing ur time and money too!

Hi Everyone!
I am new user of this forum , I used to read the posts and discussions by the pakwheels users and those seemed to be so useful and informative. Now I've made up my mind to buy a JDM car but I am a lay man about the cars, so can some professionals please help me out in choosing the car and it's specifications. I have few simple and masoomana questions for which I need easy answers with illustrations or may be someone can put pictures. Questions are : -

When someone asks you which is the overall best 660cc car amongst JDMs in every aspect. Then what would be your one word answer?
Which is the best JDM 1000cc. again one word answer.
Fuel economy of 1000cc vs 660cc? do both of these give same average? or there is big or slight difference? if there's a difference then how much? in numbers please.
Some people say that CNG can be installed and work well on 1000cc A/T, whereas some say that it can work efficiently on 660cc A/T as well. so what's the truth?
Since I'm on the page of Mira fan club and If I choose a Mira over other 660cc then which model / version means (mira custom, mira x, mira xl) and manufacturing year I go for? I mean if we forget the price difference so which one to go for?
And when I go for such car after suggestions how would i recognise? if it's mira custom or simple mira or mira xl? how someone can simply know it except the dash board gear? (pictures would be really helpful).
Also how I would know if it's a dhoc or sohc or whatever engine? or efi or cvt? which people are discussing that this is fuel efficient n that is fuel efficient. or I simply don't have to worry about that as I don't really know about this stuff?
Also suggest me the best prices for every model of mira (if possible please).
Also most importantly suggest me the best price and reliable showrooms in Karachi for the JDMs.
Last but not the least, after getting the car from the showroom, what steps do i have to take right-away I mean with the oil changes and stuff? or I just have to put the petrol and start driving it? and later on after months I have to deal with the oils and filters and etc?

So these are my few basic,simple and masoomana questions from the professionals and experts of Pak Wheels. and yes my questions might seem funny to some people like I've seen if someone is asking something; other users start taunting instead of giving suggestion or helping him out. so I request to just be focused to the questions and the earliest replies would be really appreciated as I am willing to buy the one in next 2 or 3 days . so I hope till then my query would be answered. (And yes I've made Mira an example if someone suggests me some other 660cc car keeping in view the parts availability, reliability, fuel economy and value for money, then same questions for such car).
