Daihatsu Mira or some new Pakistani car?

Hello All,

I now want to buy a small car which can give me a very good fuel efficiency, i took a look into Daihatsu Mira, and a dealer offered me the 2007 model (with round lights) unregistered for Rs.820,000. The car was in good shape but what caught my eye was the Millage reading on the odometer that said about 140k Kms, i asked the dealer about it he said it is not reversed back, and all cars in market have fake readings and this reading is normal, but i didn't finalized the deal.
So the question is this that is it normal for freshly imported Japanese cars to have this kind of millage?
Secondly the dealer also said that this car will do about 14-15 Kms on a liter of petrol, is this good?

In the end, i will like to ask that what do you people suggest me if i want to buy a fuel efficient car (for below a million rupees), whether i should opt for a new Pakistani car (alto, cultus, or Coure) or Japanese reconditioned car?(i am not very much interested in Mehran)

Please Help me out.

Yes... most of the cars are driven around 1 Lakh kms. But they are as good as new as the road conditions in Japan are fairly better so there are no issues of suspension, vibrations in car except engine is done half of its life

And yes, the round shaped Mira will give you a little better millage than the 2006 model as it has more fuel efficient engine and millage will be around 14-15 Kms as mine gives 12-13 kms 2006 model.

These japanese cars are sometimes accidented and repaired in Japan so you should be careful by selecting one and the other drawback is you can't run them on CNG.....!

My suggestion is try getting some nice Cuore CX ECO 2008 +..... as it is CNG means more economical and MANUAL too.... and nice build quality than other local cars...!

High Mileage is a problem in JDM's
look for a 4 or 4.5 grade car....they will have less mileage
Ask for the auction sheet of car from the dealer if you have any doubt about the mileage

Yes, buying a reconditioned car can be risky..
I may well go for coure with cng..
